Hello friends, I selected this generic collagen face mask set for moisturizing.
This is a jelly mask with two pieces. One piece goes on the top and one piece on the bottom of the face. This one managed to cover my entire face so it wasn’t too small. Before I put it on I applied a serum I wanted to seriously soak into my face and then I added the mask. It says to leave it on for 40 minutes till it runs clear so I opted to just lay down and browse social media. When I removed it my skin looked really nice. It looks soothed, clean, and moisturized. At the time of this review is set of six masks is 13 bucks. That’s just a little over two bucks per mask. That’s pretty standard for a big box beauty store.

This collagen face mask is very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling nourished, especially for older skin types. It comes in two pieces, so I can still move my face comfortably, but it tends to fall off when I wear it overnight as suggested. You do have to keep it on for a very long time which is a tad annoying but honestly if you want to see results, keep it on – it does work and your skin will thank you.

I have dry skin with fine lines and frequently use face masks. The good ones really do get longer lasting moisture and line diminishing effects than just applying a cream. I love the two piece design of these masks, which makes them easier to apply but also easier to move your face around, so if you are wearing them for an extended period of time they aren’t as awkward when talking or drinking. This mask did give me the deep, long lasting treatment I look for from a mask. Made my skin feel and look so smooth! Gentle and hydrating, a perfect addition to my spa evening. These would be great tucked into a gift basket of self care items…very pampering.

I ordered these to compare them to the “viral” Sungboon collagen masks that I’ve been seeing all over Tiktok, so I ordered those ones too and tried them both out. I will say that these are VERY similar to those, at half of the price. However, I did not think that either of them gave me that “glass skin” look that everyone’s going for. My skin felt soft and looked a little shiny, but nothing mindblowing. And I find it a LITTLE inconvenient that you have to wear them for so long in order for them to turn clear. I haven’t tried wearing them overnight but I don’t see how that would be feasible, as I’m a very “wild” sleeper.

I do not put in enough time to take care of my skin and now that I’m in my 50’s it is time to put in some facial regime. This collagen face mask is something I can do from time to time to get me on the healthy skin path. I like that the mask becomes transparent after 40 minutes letting me know when to remove it and to let me see that the collagen has been absorbed. I know waiting 40 minutes can be a long time to sit still but I like doing it while reading a book or watching TV. I’ve also done this while catching up on phone calls to family and friends. I like how my skin feels after the treatment, and I can see that my face is no longer dry. This mask does not irritate my skin and can stay on overnight. Overall, the collagen face mask gives my face new life while I take some time.
