    This Advanced Probiotic – Fermented Serum is the most liquidy serum I have ever used for eyes. I only apply a pea bean amount which is enough for two eyes and it is an average absorption. No fragrance. In fact, I am not used to its texture. I like using it as a face serum more. I have been applying it two times a day for almost two months and I haven’t experienced any obvious change since I used it. I will give this serum three stars.

    This is a rich, fairly thick eye serum and it works well for me. It is a white, milky fluid with an almost syrupy viscosity and it is not at all runny (a good thing since one is supposed to avoid contact with the eyes). I find this a bit concerning for an eye serum, since it seems almost inevitable that a tiny bit will seep from the surrounding skin into the eye, especially on a hot day or if I am working or sweating outside. But so far I have managed not to accidentally put any of the serum in my eyes (I can be a klutz). A single drop will hold its shape and that is all that I need for careful application to the under-eye area. I put any little extra on my forehead or on the lines around my mouth — this serum really helps in those areas, too).. I have dry, sensitive skin and this causes no redness or irritation. It has a somewhat odd, sharp scent from one or more of the ingredients (there is no added fragrance) but I don’t find it bothersome and it doesn’t seem to linger very long. The serum does seem moderately hydrating and there is a mild tightening effect that lasts a long time. It is absorbed fairly quickly but remains a bit tacky for a few minutes. I do think the serum helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles on a temporary basis. This perks up my eyes and this area of my face looks less fatigued. I appreciate that this product is made in the USA and I also like that the product description shows the full list of ingredients. As someone with sensitive skin, I want to check for any ingredients that might now work for me before I place an order. I am always irritated if I have to search for this information online. I have several other skin care products from Cosmesis Skin Care, and really like all of the so far. I’m happy to have found a new brand. The serum is housed in a dark amber, glass bottle and arrived properly sealed.

    First things first… I will say that the bottle I received had a protective plastic on it, but it was not secure. I could twist open the bottle without breaking the seal of the plastic. I decided to try it anyway. It is a milky, slightly sticky serum. Very easy to apply below your eyes and absorbs relatively quickly. It does leave a somewhat sticky feel after about 5 minutes but it did not alter my makeup application. I do believe this helped to soften the wrinkles under my eyes and the usual slight swelling I have in the morning when I wake up (I’m 57). I think that the caffeine in this product is very helpful for this issue. Overall, I’m not sure how the probiotic advantage works, but the product does do an overall good job in softening the skin and reducing puffiness. I totally love that it is made in the USA. The bottle is small but you only have to apply a very small amount to get the job done, so it should last quite a long time. Nice product!
