Overall, I would say that this is an average silk sleep mask, which is why I am giving it an average 4-star rating. The silk is very soft and smooth, so it is comfortable to wear. But there are a few things working against this. First, it is VERY expensive ($44.00 at time of review). I understand that it is silk, but that still seems quite steep for a sleep mask. Second, the band is not adjustable at all. So if it’s too loose on your head, you’re out of luck. That seems like a design flaw that could be easily fixed.

This is a good sleeping mask, but it’s not great. It’s soft, made of silk, it’s comfortable and should fit well on almost all head sizes, and it does in fact fully block light when worn, at least any light through the fabric. It’s breathable and as far as I can tell it is in fact made fully from silk, at least all of the skin-contact surfaces. You can wash it but only hand-wash and air-dry, it can’t handle heat and it’s not possible to iron or dry-clean it. But those aren’t the reason I’m taking two stars off of this rating.
It’s a very simple mask and in a lot of times that wouldn’t be a downside, but for over $40 I can’t say I see the value in it. It’s flat, so it doesn’t have a standard ‘cheek cover’ or thing that makes sure it stays over your cheeks and doesn’t touch your eyes. It also doesn’t have any kind of buckle or strap adjuster on the back that would let you adjust it.
What this boils down to is a simple flat mask filled with some kind of filler, with silk on the outside. The strap is a simple elastic band that’s covered in a folded/wrinkled silk fabric. That’s not a lot… It’s quite simple. Sometimes simplicity is a good thing, but in this case it means it’s lacking some very nice features that would have gone a long way towards justifying its price.
It has nothing that keeps it off of your eyes, nothing that pushes it up from your cheeks; it’s just a literal flat surface that sits over your eyes. This means some light makes it through the bottom of the mask, and also means you can’t wear it if you’re someone who has an issue with things being right up against your eyes while you sleep. The back also doesn’t have any adjustment straps, so if you’re one of the people who it isn’t a good fit for, then you’re just fully out of luck and you won’t have any way to fix that. It cannot be adjusted.
The simple fact is, if this mask had been priced more towards $20, instead of $40, I would have said it seemed like a good deal for the price. Alternatively, if it had the features of a non-cheap sleep mask, I would have accepted it at its price point. As it stands though, I cannot recommend it for the price it’s being sold for, by at least half.
I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn’t hold up as expected.

This is an excellent sleep mask that really lives up to the adjectives used in the product description. It really is very soft, smooth and luxurious, and silk material feels great against the eyes. Light blocking is total with no leakage. I ordered the navy blue version, and it looks classy.
The fit was fine, but if I had one small suggestion it’s that some sort of adjustment would be nice. The elastic band could conceivably stretch out over time, making the mask too loose. Or, if someone has an exceptionally large head the mask could feel uncomfortable. But for me, the mask fit just fine out of the box.

This Mulberry Park 100% Pure 22 Momme Silk Sleep Eye Mask came well packaged. The packaging is nice and giftable.
The mask is well-made and helps with light blocking while I sleep.
The mask feels very super comfy and soft.
The only minor is that there is no adjustable headband. While it fits well for me, it can feel tight for others.

Mulberry Park Silks has created the most luxurious, 30 momme silk eye mask I have ever seen and felt. The quality of this silk is superior even when compared with higher priced ones that I own. The level of softness and cushioning inside the mask offers the maximum amount of comfort and coverage next to my eyes. The elastic band is covered in this same luxurious silk that will not pull or tug on hair and will never feel uncomfortable around the head. When I have a headache or have had a hard day, this eye mask relaxes my eyes and my mind setting me up for a better nights sleep. This eye mask would make a beautiful Christmas gift of self care to someone special in your life. It comes beautifully boxed and ready to gift!

This sleep mask is very nice and definitely comes off as luxury. The problem is the price is also luxury. It’s a nice silky material and the cushion is pillowy soft. It’s a nice sleep mask but a tad expensive.
