Believe me when I say I have tried every face/eye mask on the market. As a matter of fact, the drawer in my fridge that’s supposed to hold cheese actually just holds skincare products, lol! So here are my overall thoughts on these eye masks – they’re PERFECT for prepping for an event or a night, having pictures taken or indulging in an at-home “spa day”, but too expensive for every day use. In my personal opinion, you’re not going to see true results from one-time use eye masks unless you’re using them regularly, which is why I would recommend buying a decent quality jar or container that includes dozens of masks for daily use. Clearly, for most people this is a splurge item, but they are a good thick quality, stay put under your eyes, hydrate well, smell nice and brighten your under eyes.

These Jillian Dempsey Eye Masks include 10 pairs of individually wrapped premium eye masks (outer packaging recyclable). Once opened, I peel off the outer mesh linings before use. The packages travel well and are handy to keep in my purse for a quick refresh when needed. Also, the serum can evaporate too fast in some containers of eye gels, so I like that these are sealed so they’ll stay wet longer and the packages keep them more sanitary. These eye masks are a bit bigger than standard eye gels, and the material is absorbent and well soaked in a milky serum.
These masks are pliable and cling to my skin so well that they don’t slide or fall off even if I’m walking around. I cleanse and then apply the masks for 10-15 minutes, remove and gently pat in serum left on the surface of my skin. These feel so refreshing to my dry, sensitive skin, and the serum hasn’t caused any irritation even though these do have a light scent (which is pleasant). The serum feels soothing and is ultra hydrating. It has a quick plumping effect that minimizes the look of my fine lines and makes my skin appear firmer. I feel my eye area appears brighter too.
These masks leave my skin soft and smooth without any flakiness and are great to use before going out as they make my eye area look more youthful, and I also get a smoother application of my under eye concealer from the hydration. Also, while the quick effect on my fine lines is a temporary benefit, using these eye masks can provide longer term benefits given ingredients such as the natural prebiotic Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, an antioxidant that reduces environmental damage and supports a healthy skin barrier. Love it. 5 stars. Made in France.

I dislike these eye patches. The packaging is a pain to open. Each pair is in there own individual package so its definitely not environmentally friendly. The foil on the top is hard to pull off, especially because the serum from the patches gets all over it so it makes it slick. I also do not like the smell of the patches. I don’t know if they work but I probably won’t use them long enough to find out.
