    Stick is hard and dry. Crumbled when I applied to skin. Left no discernable protection to skin.

    I love this anti-chafe stick! I took it on a 3-day mountain biking trip around the White Rim in Canyonlands National Park earlier this month and it saved my life! We biked about 30 miles every day for 3 days in a row. I’d done the trip once before and got bad chafing where my body sits on the bike (not pleasant) and this time around I wanted to try and prevent that, so I applied this anti-chafe stick at the beginning of each day and throughout the day and it did the trick! The stick itself is the perfect size for keeping in a pocket/day bag/fanny pack, and it goes on super lightweight and not at all greasy, which is a huge plus. (In the evenings I applied Dermatone’s Skin Protector in the classic tin and it helped soothe and heal my skin overnight—it was a great combination that I will definitely be using for years to come!)

    I usually use the Gold Bond anti-chafe stick, but when it was out of stock I purchased the Dermatone stick instead. The Dermatone stick is more expensive than the Gold Bond, but I wanted to try it because I already knew that I did not like the Mega Babe sticks.

    The Dermatone stick is much stiffer/harder to work with than the Gold Bond. You have to really dig it into you skin to get the product on. It is not comfortable to use, but it does do a good job of preventing my thighs from chafing.

    This product really does the job. Goes on smoothly and stops chafing. The small size fits right in my bike wedge.

    I absolutely love the travel size – it is perfect for packing in my bag. I opt for the larger (1.5 ounce) for at home use but the travel size is perfect for on the go.

    The product works great with no stickiness. It is super comfortable for long runs / bike rides and the product lasts hours with no issues.
