Leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, and not even the least bit greasy. It all penetrates quickly and does the job I want it to do. No scent left behind, so no added stuff — just a lovely whipped cream to slather on and leave me feeling softened.
Impressive stuff, and I think it might replace my regular lotion — just an overall fantastic cream.

It moisturises very well but the balm has been rather hard when I have gone to use it, making it more of an effort to remove some from the jar. As my fingertips have not picked up much from being glided across the surface. In warmer weather the balm is more likely to be softer and easier to remove; as shown in the product video.
The fragrance of the jar of balm I received is rather neutral. Nothing unpleasant as far as I am concerned.
A balm which moisturises dry skin very well and is easily absorbed. Making skin look more hydrated.
No irritation or unwanted side effects experienced.
A little goes a long way.
Being contained in rather compact jars makes it ideal for packing in a toiletry bag for business trips and holidays. It also won’t take up too much space at home.

Agree with another review that recommended using a cosmetic spoon to scoop out of the jar.
This melts quickly on the skin and leaves a nice protective coating on your skin. A bit waxy.
I just finished a different brand of tallow that was whipped. But, because it was whipped, I felt it took up a lot of space in the jar, and I actually received less product. So, when repurchasing, I am trying a thicker balm this time. The tallow did wonders for softening the chapped and callus heels on my feet. (I do have heel socks which I put on once slathering my heels in tallow.)
I liked that this had only 5 ingredients.
No surprise ingredients when reading ingredients on the box.
I liked that the product (bottom of the box) has a stamped production date and expiration date.
I liked that the product was packaged to be tamper resistant. (box was shrink wrapped in cellophane)

I live in a place that gets quite cold in the winter and because of this extreme weather a good lotion is very important during the winter months. I’ve heard great things about tallow for providing superior protection during harsh weather conditions and got this lotion as we are starting to head towards colder weather. This definitely absorbs quickly. It leaves behind very little residue. It’s also unscented. I like this combo as I have skin that is fairly sensitive and spend time outside on a regular basis. It leaves my skin soft. Definitely a great lotion to have on hand.

After water the first ingredient in this cream is Adeps Bovis (Tallow). Having the title ingredient be the main ingredient is refreshing. I briefly reviewed the first 10 ingredients for safety at EWG, and all of them scored 1 (the safest score) with the exception of ingredient #10, which scored a 1-2.
The brand Melao has trademark history dating to 2017, and the brand is owned by Guangzhou Yilong Daily Chemicals CO., Ltd. they claim that they are “a leading manufacturer of developing and Producing Makeup Brush Face Cleaning Brush, Bath Brush and Brush Knots over 12 years” and that “250 employees are in our company, we have the GMP, COA, MSDS, ISO9001 and ISO22716 certification.” The packaging includes the manufacturers address, which is required but not always provided.
This is a super creamy face and body cream that has no appreciable scent. Tallow is said to be a great emollient, and this feels both very moisturizing and skin softening. I’m not sure why it says the brand is Ofanyia, when it’s Melao. I took a star off simply because I prefer products made in the US, although this manufacturer is fairly transparent, which is reassuring.

I love that the ingredients in this are super simple and it doesn’t have extra unnecessary ingredients. The beef tallow works really well. My thumbs are prone to cracking, but this balm really helped soften my cracking skin. It feels really hard in the little tub, but if you move your finger around on the top, the heat of your skin will help to soften it into a consistency that is more akin to vaseline. Overall, this stuff works great, and I look forward to continuing to use it.

This tallow balm is thick, firm, and dense. It has a true balm texture, and it looks like petroleum jelly. For application, this tallow balm would be better if it was softer and creamier. This balm has no scent. This tallow balm does leave the skin a little oily, shiny, and glistening. But, it’s not truly oily though. I like that this tallow balm is all-natural skincare. It’s an okay moisturizer, but it doesn’t absorb very well. This tallow balm does leave a little bit of a sheen or shine on the skin. For this reason, I wouldn’t use too much of it on the face. This tallow balm would be better on other body areas such as legs, arms, and feet. This tallow balm is 2 ounces, has a 3 year shelf-life, and is made in China. 😃

I’ve been using this on both my face and legs and the results have been good. I’ve read a lot about beef tallow being very good for our skin, who’d have thought it, I wouldn’t, but was looking forward to trying it. I was very pleasantly surprised at how moisturised, soft and smooth my skin looked and felt after using it, it absorbs so well and has made a positive difference, which is what I wanted to see. I’m hooked now and will keep on using this lovely cream.

This is my first time using beef tallow. I did some research and saw that this is trending on tiktok and other social media sites. It supposedly gives that glass skin effect. Today is my first day using it and so far I can say that it truly doesn’t have a scent so that’s good because I’ve read some people complaining that it can sometimes smell like hamburger. I used this after washing my face and drying and it almost feels like there is nothing there. It does not feel greasy at all. It’s a really light moisturizer. Even when I touch it it doesn’t feel oily, but I do feel that my skin is slightly softer. I’m actually taking a huge risk because my face does not respond nicely to most moisturizers and I usually end up with pus filled little bubbles the next day and I do not know why. I will continue to use this and update my review accordingly. 4 stars for now since so far, so good.
**Also my skin type is dry for reference and I’ve also got some redness on my cheeks that I’m hoping is reduced by using this product**

i love the feel of this lotion, and although it says all natural, the first 2 ingredients are water and bovis which i assume is the beef part, after that there are a lot of ingredients i don’t recognize and then a bunch of flower extracts. so while i am not 100% sure this is “all natural” it does feel lovely on my skin and there is absolutely no offensive odor. i would recommend this to anyone with sensitive or dry skin.
