This is my favorite bath soap. It’s moisturizing, light pleasant scent, big enough to hold onto, and it lasts a long time (unlike other bar soaps). I found it by accident a few years ago and now this is the only bar I buy!

The Good: Excellent natural soap that gets you clean and contains all the natural moisturizers from the oil that store bought ‘regular’ soap takes out to sell for other products. What you end up with is a nice clean soap that naturally moisturizes your skin. This one has a great light coconut scent and contains some poppy seeds or something that helps exfoliate as you use it as well.
The Bad: An 8oz bar of soap is pretty big. It’s a lot to handle at first, but you get used to it. It is best to just use a wash cloth or your hands to get some lather and then use that to apply the soap to your body. The poppy seeds on one of the bars were a little more present, which made it pretty scratchy. They aren’t hard enough to hurt anything, and they’re all natural, but once the bar gets down to the last few uses, if you let it dry out, it gets pretty scratchy. Also, it’s a little expensive for soap, as you can get a regular bar of soap for like $1-2. Lastly, this WILL leave more ‘soap scum’ on your shower and tub, so I recommend either a good soap scum removing chemical, or natural cleaners, either one with melamine sponges (same as the magic eraser, but the generic works just as well) to get the soap scum off. Not really a big problem if you clean your shower or bath often enough, but I have noticed it more since using natural soap.
#1 tip I have for this, or any other soap, is once it gets small and flimsy, simply open a new soap, use the new soap, and then press and rub the sliver of old soap onto the new bar. Once you let this sit until your next shower or bath, it’ll be like one piece. Soap fuses really well to itself (and decently to other soaps).
This is not the first natural soap we have tried. We have used Dr. Bronners in the past, but we like the Shea Moisture much better. We recently bought this one (again) because the hibiscus flower soap that we REALLY like was up in price for some reason from $11.99 to $18.99 for the two 8oz bars. Natural soap is a little expensive, but totally worth it, and we think this one is the best we’ve tried so far.

Been using it for years. Gentle fragrance. Gentle on my sensitive skin, lathers up very well on a washcloth, and lasts a long time. Natural soaps are a bit expensive but this one is worth it for sure.

I have been using this soap but it is difficult to find near me. Found a good price point here on Amazon. It lasts a long time and smells good. I appreciate how it helps me deal with very dry south central Texas air. I don’t have to ise near as much lotion.

If you’re looking for a soap that exfoliates your skin then you must try shea butter soap. It doesn’t dry your skin and it last long. I like to break it up into pieces so that it’s easier for me to manage because it is kinda of big.
