These gloves work so well. I use them before and after shaving too and I’ve had no ingrown hairs since. Soak in the tub for about 5 min before you use it and your skin will be so soft and smooth. I use it about once a week and absolutely love it.

I was looking for a good exfoliating Body Mitt. This one is made from 95% Viscose, 2% Cotton, 2% Polyester, and1% Latex. When I first used this mitt, it gave off a weird smell that disappeared after using it. I like that my hand actually stayed in the Body Mitt without it coming off. The Body Mitt does a nice job at exfoliating, but I did use body wash when using it. The mitt has a little hanging hoop that I use to hang up to dry when I’m done using it.

I found this glove to work well to remove dead skin. I soaked the glove for about 10 minutes prior to use. Soap didn’t lather up on the glove but I wasn’t expect it to. It did have a strange smell at first but disappeared after using. It fit nice on my hand and was easy to use.

I got this thinking it would work just like those very rough Japanese scrubbing washcloths. In other words, I thought you were meant to use this while showering, with soap. However this is meant for just doing a body scrub to remove dead skin without a shower. I didn’t realize it til I saw the instructions after. You are supposed to soak for a 10 min and the use this to scrub off dead skin. I used it with soap, which it wasn’t designed for. It doesn’t hold a lather, so you may need to add more soap if you want to use it for that purpose.
The roughness isn’t as much as I am used to, so it’s a bit gentler on skin. That being said, it still does the job of removing dead skin. I cannot attest to using it in the exact way it recommends, but I can easily see it working based off of my shower test.
I like the little loop so that you can hang it in the shower. It is easy to put in and use and take off.
Some downsides is that there is only 1 mitt. I wish there were two. I feel like it would be better to use two hands to exfoliate legs. There is also a chemically smell on the glove even after using soap with it. Not so bad if you don’t have it up to your nose, but I did use it on my face and could smell it when I used it. This is just a minor thing as it wouldn’t prevent me from using it.
The size of it fit perfectly on my hand but this may not work on a larger hand. I am petite, and have smaller hands. There isn’t that much stretch to the fabric either.
Hibou –
I like that this kit is made from mostly natural materials and washes easily in my washing machine. It is pretty sturdy and should last a while, I do wash it after every use. I do have very large hands and wish it were a little bigger, but it is still effective, and should be fine for most people. It is easy to use and works great on my legs and arms.

Very fine exfoliation, really nice to help slough off the skin, but I found it didn’t really help my rough patches. I also wish this was not trimmed in orange, makes me feel like I’ve got some home depot equipment in my shower.

this exfoliating mitt feels like it is a smooth texture because it is rough on a micro scale to polish your skin like very fine sandpaper. I use a lot of chemical exfoliants that leave me flaky and this gets all of the flakes off of my face without scratching or overdoing it. I love exfoliating with this type of mitt. It really gets rid of all the buildup of dead skin. The difference is noticeable.
This particular mitt is well-made. I like the way it is bound so there is no seam allowance on the inside and there is a handy hanging loop. It dries quickly between uses when hung. It can be thrown in the washing machine occasionally to freshen it up. This is a great mitt.
