I love these types of handcrafted soaps; I am not a new consumer here. These are affordable everyday luxury items. We all use soap – right? We should use something that leaves our skin feeling nice. I am always willing to try craft soaps.
This has some skin benefits from the kojic acid. This is not why I ordered this, but why not? I didn’t order this because I am trying to address dark spots or skin blemishes; I ordered this for soap. I opened the box, put it in my shower, and I am using this as my daily cleansing routine. I like it.
Scent is a very individual issue. This smells quite “lemony” but not fakey/perfumy lemony but real lemon (lemon extract).

EUQEE Termeric Kojic Acid Soap smells great, like lemon with a touch of ginger. It lathers up really, really well when put into the net bag. In fact, it lathers up so well that I’ve been rubbing my hands on the bag and then using the foam to clean. I’ve been using it as a body bar. The smell lingers after getting out of the shower, but is very light. Only people who are close enough to me to kiss me can smell it. It feels good on my skin and rinses off easily. I haven’t had any problem with irritation or sensitivity while using this, but I don’t have very sensitive skin.

I like using this soap! It has a very nice citrusy smell to it, and it’s not too strong. I also like that it comes with a little loofa bag thing. The loofa bag really helped the soap lather up and it lathers very quickly and easily which is something I like in a body soap! After I used my skin felt nice and moisturized. All together this soap made for a very pleasant shower experience!

This package includes two large bars of beauty soap, and a beautiful silky, fine-mesh, drawstring net bag with a satin ribbon. This is not a hard milled soap; it feels soft before you ever get it wet. It produces a lot of lather, so using it inside the bag is like having a very low abrasive loofah. If you hang it between uses the bag can prevent the bar from dissolving too soon. The soap has a pleasant herbal citrusy fragrance.
This soap has a long list of ingredients that are hard to pronounce. Some of them, like glycerin or the various oils are softeners. Others, like retinol, or tea tree oil, have a variety of benefits but can also be irritants – so you use caution if you have sensitive skin.
The impressively long list of ingredients include sorbitol, stearic acid, propylene glycol, lauric acid, sodium laureth sulfate, water, sucrose, glycerin, peg-8, titanium dioxide, kojic acid, sodium polynapthalensulfanate, CI 12490, sodium sulfate, CI 19140, CI 15985, curcuma longa extract, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, retinol, ascorbic acid, deer bone collagen. Made in China.

This is probably the biggest soap bar of this category I have seen on the market, with 5 oz. each. Having kojic acid, it has a citrusy scent but is not overpowering at all. Additionally, this is the first time I’ve seen and used papain in a soap bar of this type; often, I see turmeric. And it appears to be a better one. This soap is creamy, which I appreciate, even though I didn’t anticipate it to be. I ordered it because papaya is a fruit that is good for skin and general health, so I figured it must also be helpful for skin when used topically. I don’t have skin blotches to address; I ordered it because papaya as a fruit is good for skin and overall health, so I reasoned it must be good for skin if used topically as well. So far, I’m liking it and have dedicated it to facial cleansing. Thank you.

I love citrus scents and this soap smells so refreshing. I appreciate that a mesh bag was enclosed so you can scrub with this soap if you choose to. It’s got a good lather in addition to the lovely lemon scent. After using it a few times on my face and body, my skin feels clean and smooth but not dry. It’s a really big bar but I wish it were more rectangular so I could turn it in my hands easier – it’s a bit bulky.

I have been using kojic soap for a while and have noticed a difference — with a caveat. The soap works as a bleaching agent IF you leave it on your face for the required 3-5 minutes (until it starts to tingle) before you rinse it off AND you diligently use a high SPF sunscreen. With the use of this soap, the sunscreen is especially importantas it makes you sunsensitive and will undo whatever progress the kojic bleaching has done to your skin. This is a pretty standard Glycerin soap bar blend that includes tumeric and kojic acid. Lathers well, rinses well and has very little scent. Comes with a mesh bag to help keep it dry. Overall, pretty standard kojic soap that will do the job but then again you will never see results if you do not do the preventive part and keep the sun off your face.

I’ve tried other brands with exfoliating particles on top, but I find those too abrasive—especially on delicate areas like the face. These bars skip the harsh exfoliants, making them a better fit for sensitive skin. While I couldn’t locate an ingredient list on the packaging and haven’t tested it on my face due to my sensitivity, I found it gentle and effective for other areas.
This set would be a great match for those who appreciate natural scents and want a long-lasting, quality bar soap.
