• Tins are dented – but who cares? Not as if I’m keeping the tins for posterity,
+ Contents were contained within each tin, nothing leaking.
+ They’re much bigger than I thought they would be.

– – – however the “unscented” doesn’t smell pleasant at all. I can’t describe the scent (odor). In fact will likely use on my feet then wash my hands to keep as far away from my nose as possible. Will look out for the original scented version.

I don’t know why I’ve never tried Nivea crème but I’m so glad I finally decided to. I didn’t think I would like how thick it is because I imagined it would be too heavy, and although it take a little bit longer to fully absorb into my skin I actually love that because it allows me to glide my fingers across my skin long enough to get in a good face massage, and it’s doing a great job at keeping my skin hydrated! I like the scent too.
Instead of scooping the cream I just kind of tap it with a little swipe, then tap the cream all over my face before I massage it in. When I use it on my body I combine it with another lotion that’s less thick, like Lubriderm or I’ll use a body oil. This makes it much easier to use on larger surfaces.
My only complaint is really a complaint about how Amazon shipped it. All three containers were badly dinged up because they shipped them in a paper envelope with barely any padding instead of a cardboard box. They must have thrown my package about because the plastic that was holding the containers together had torn. Kind of a bummer but not the fault of the product. Love the cream!
Update: I forgot to mention that I’ve been using this as a way to ‘seal’ in my anti-aging creams, and I started using the LA PURE Korean Face Mask just two nights ago at bedtime. I used my ATS Air Shot the first night, then massaged it in before ‘sealing’ it in with Nivea, and I’ve noticed a plumping the very next morning, especially around my mouth area! I even use Nivea on my lips and they’re so much softer. I can’t say exactly what has made the difference but I’m going to keep this up since I’m noticing a nice improvement where even expensive creams alone haven’t impressed me much.

The progress is gradual so you have to apply it daily.

I’ve had this product before and was a much lighter creamier texture. This is a very thick consistency. It works and smooths well,doesn’t have a heavy scent.

I purchased this because I was looking for the German made version of Nivea Cream.
My research indicated that the difference between the German and any other version could be discerned from the ingredient list – that the German version says Cinnamyl Alcohol as the second last ingredient and that the registered trademark is based in Beiersdorf AG, Germany (as opposed to being made in Mexico and distributed from CT, etc.)
This is a lovely cream that feels great on the skin. Not a light-feeling cream, by any means. It feels a little heavier upon application than a lotion would, but that’s why this cream is great for dry and damaged skin. I use it on my hands and feet and I’ve noticed a reduction in the dryness of my hands since starting to use it.
My reason for taking one star off the overall rating is due to the condition of all three tins when they arrived in the mail. They were packaged together stacked, with a plastic wrap around them and all of them were a little dented. Not something I’d return them for, but you may not get a perfect looking tin if you order these.

I’ve been using this product for years and have yet to find something with a similar formula. I use it as a primer under my makeup or alone for a nice glow.
