    Our liquid hand soap was etching the real marble countertop in the bathroom, because my kids would leave soapy wet messes after washing their hands. I only realized the etching was caused by the soap after a big soap-spill accident. After some research, I learned that most soaps are slightly acidic and a pH-neutral soap won’t etch calcium-based stone. Relying on that basic science, I bypassed the expensive soap marketed as “marble-safe” and went with this. Glad I did – no new etching!! It’s unscented (so it has a natural, neutral soap smell), and it’s great for skin: I’ve noticed that my daughter’s hands, which are prone to overdrying in the winter, are nice and soft. A win-win!

    I have been using this soap to wash my face for 17 years. I have very sensitive skin and Grisi Neutral soap is extremely gentle. It is fragrance free and hypoallergenic, too! I often get compliments on how great my complexion is. I have told SO many people that this soap is definitely the reason why my complexion is so clear and smooth, even though i’m almost 50 years old. I do not use any type of anti-aging serums or hyaluronic acid. My skincare routine in it’s entirety consists of 1) using this soap to cleanse my face and 2) Aquaphor to moisturize my face. I highly recommend Grisi Neutral soap for normal, sensitive, dry, oily, or combination skin. It is very gentle and soothing for acne prone skin and on skin that gets irritated easily. Give it a try!

    Sometimes having some sort of allergic reaction to soap can be very subtle to the point that you almost can’t notice it but I finally noticed it and realized that my skin was having some sort of allergic reaction to regular soap which is why I needed the hypoallergenic soap. This soap is pleasant it cleans well and my skin is quite neutral to it. And the price and value can’t be beat.

    They would be fine as face soap, but are too small to use in the shower. Otherwise this is very nice soap. Also smells nice.
