This soap lather is very good, but the soap bar doesn’t water down and wash away quickly. It lasts !

I have ordered, via Amazon, different brands of Sandalwood scented soap, and haven’t found one I really like until now. Varina is a small batch, US based company, that make a variety of scented soaps, including the one I bought, called, Antique Sandalwood. My purchase included three bars, so they should last me for some time. Though a tad more expensive per bar, I find they are worth the money. And their soaps are vegan and cruelty free, which is important to me. They have a lovely lather with a velvety texture and, unlike most the soaps I have purchased, the soap’s coloration and scent seem to carry on through the whole soap, not just as a coating on the outside of the soap.

Bought the angel bar cause I saw reviews that is smelled like Thierry mugler angel! It does not smell at all like it! Sent is very week ! Oh well glad it didn’t cost much

The Varina Natural Pink Sugar Bar Soap has a nice smell that reminds me more of pink lemonade than salt. I chose this one hoping there would be a gritty, exfoliating factor to it but it it doesn’t. The smell is strong enough to fill the bathroom with scent but it’s not overwhelming at all. It leaves the scent on my hands for washing but I didn’t notice any lingering scent after a shower. The soap is soft and squishable, so it seems fresh and almost homemade quality to it. I wished the packaging said it’s uses since I had to refer to the listing to make sure that it was for body and not just hands. Price is a little high before 3 bars, but the quality is good and the bars are large. They are more unique boutique quality than something that you’ll find at your local grocery store.
