These little exfoliating gloves are more like pouches or little pillowcases for your hands. They aren’t too harsh, yet they exfoliate effectively. The stitching isn’t the neatest, but they seem to be holding together well!

Right out of the box, the hanji exfoliating cloth felt thinner than the more traditional Korean wash cloths, but when wet, it bulked up and felt sturdy and strong. It exfoliates very well.
The trick with Korean scrubber is to make sure your skin is fully soaked so using it in the bath is recommended over the shower. You have to soak in hot water and wait until your fingers get wrinkled and pruny before starting the exfoliating process. The point is slough off dead skin cells from your body and if done properly after sufficient soaking, you’ll have soft skin (and a tub of gross dead skin cells to clean up, the not so fun part of all this). If you’re planning to use it in the shower, use it daily lathered up with a body wash/soap and don’t scrub so hard.
Other reviewers mentioned that this hurts – yes, it’s supposed to since it’s an exfoliating cloth and works by taking a layer of your skin off. No pain, no gain. Honestly though, it’s really not that painful unless you’re exerting lots of force on your skin with this product! To make it hurt less, you can lather up using soap or body wash and not scrub as hard.
And please do NOT use this cloth dry as another reviewer did! 🤦♀️You’re supposed to use it soaking wet, in a bath or shower. Just the same as a loofah but this just cleans you better.

These Korean exfoliation towels have a different texture than the traditional green ones you can buy in bulk. The fibers are different but still rough enough to exfoliate like a traditional Italy towel. This two pack of towel mitts came with little loop hooks attached to them to hang up on your shower hook after use and measure roughly 19cm x 12cm when dry. They will shrink slightly when wet but do stretch a bit!
Attempting my first use in the shower, I followed directions which say to use after washing with soap. Do NOT apply soap to the towel! I rubbed the mitt across my skin and noticed so much dead skin rub right off and pill up into what looked like grey eraser shavings. Gross but satisfying!
If you have dull skin or find yourself shedding dead skin on your towel after showering, this is the solution for you! You need a bit of a firm touch to exfoliate your skin manually but as far as body towels go, I can see each mitt lasting up to six months of regular use. 🙂

These little cloths are more like little pockets. These smelled a little funny the first time they were wet, but I planned on pre-washing them before I used them. Once they were pre-washed, there was no smell at all except my soap fragrance. I wouldn’t use these on my face, since they are surprisingly rough compared to how they look. They look like linen, but are great for body exfoliation. These dry quickly and look nice–not like a big loofah brush or those large mittens. These are quite aesthetic and also functional.

This is basically 2 rectangles into which you insert your hands. I have big hands. If you’re not a petite person, get the towel, because you won’t be able to jam your big mitts inside these. I wish they offered more sizes

The washcloths are gentle on my skin (likely because it’s thin), used once or twice a week without any harsh effects. Their quick-drying and thinner texture make them ideal for regular use, providing a noticeable difference in my skin without feeling bulky in my hand. However, it is easy to break and may need to replace regularly.
