Peet Bros lotion comes in a metal container with a pump on top. The lotion is light ivory in color and has a mild sweet fragrance. The lotion applies nicely and absorbs readily. It leaves skin feeling soft and moisturized, but not greasy. I use it on my body and my 3.5 year old son’s body after showering. Neither of us have had any adverse reactions.
All in all… a fine lotion.

The bottle had leaked on its way here so I had a mess to clean up and lost some product, but the lotion is great. I’d order it again if I knew the company had fixed what seems to be a common shipping problem.
JustMyOpinion –
I’m a Massage Therapist so I’m really fussy about the ingredients that I see in lotions. One of my pet peeves is the overuse of glycerin which is a cheap way to extend a lotion. I don’t like the feel because it leaves a mildly tacky feel on the skin. It’s the #3 ingredient here (after water and shea butter) so that means there’s a lot in there. If it’s further down the list (at least 5th or 6th after all the oils/butters) then I’m ok with it but this is too much. Also the Sandalwood scent is *barely* detectable.
I’ll use it for myself but I wouldn’t purchase again.

This lotion has a nice enough smell, and it seems to moisturize okayish, but it’s VERY runny. Then, after you rub it into your hands, it starts to rub off into little flecks, rather than absorbing into your skin. So your hands are left with sort of a sticky, unclean feeling. This makes me not want to use it, because I immediately feel like I. We’d to go wash my hands. The consistency just isn’t right for a good hand lotion, especially not other Shea butter lotions I’ve seen.

I use lotion all the time as I wash my hands constantly and they’re always dry. I tried two different types of this lotion. They arrived in two different shipments and both bottles leaked all over the outside of the pump container along with covering my other products in the box. I can understand it happening to one but not both of them, in two different shipments. Now as far as the product itself I’m not crazy about the scent. Unlike other reviewer‘s I personally found this to be very oily at first.. It did seem to absorb in my skin but left a very oily somewhat sticky coating to my skin. After about 10 minutes some of the sticky/oily texture lessened. Did it helped moisturize my skin? Yes, probably a little bit. What is the experience pleasant? Not really. I personally will not buy this one again.

This lotion comes in a pretty aluminum bottle. It is light and non-greasy and absorbs well. I was a little disappointed in the fragrance, however. There isn’t much to it, and I couldn’t even detect any sandalwood. It barely smells at all.

This is a very light and moisturizing lotion. It absorbed into my skin without a greasy feel. Although, it mentions a sandalwood scent however its very light almost non existing. This doesn’t bother me as I prefer a lighter scented lotion but since its in the description as such it should have a but of a scent.

The bottle arrived open – meaning, the dispenser was in the open position when it arrived, even though it was fully wrapped. I find that very questionable. Was this used and then returned?
This doesn’t have much of a fragrance, but what there is smells old and stale. It doesn’t smell like there’s any sandalwood in this, that’s for sure. If I decide to use this (which is probably ill-advised since it was open without any seal to tell me it hasn’t been tampered with), then I would have to add my own fragrance since there’s not much here, and what there is just isn’t pleasant.
If someone is lucky enough to get an unopened product, I’d be interested to see how their experience differs, but I simply cannot recommend an open product that smells sus.
