This jar of moisturizer has a safety seal on it, which I like. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. My husband, who is very sensitive to scents, find it OK. It is a fruity base scent, but not in an overly sweet way. I do not understand why the description has “herbal” in it, as no where on the label of the jar, or on the back label does it list anything herbal. It is definitely not in the scent either. This seems kind of misleading.
This moisturizer is on the thick side, but not heavy when I put it on my skin. It absorbs quickly enough without any greasy or sticky feeling. Right now in the fall, this moisturizes enough, I am not sure how it will fare in January and February when it is dryer in general.

I also already have this Hempz Lux Sweet Pineapple & Honey Melon Ultra Hydrating Lotion scent as the Sunscreen version, and this smells the exact same. It’s a very sweet and fruity scent that’s perfect for the spring and summer seasons. This lotion is definitely a little heavier than the traditional Hempz lotions, but this provides so much extra hydration! It’s thick and a little harder to apply, but it gives an almost instantaneous hydration boost so it’s perfect for dry skin. The scent lingers practically all day too! It’s a non greasy formula, and even makes my hands feel so smooth after applying. This is definitely worth the price!

I absolutely love this brand because all of their lotions are always super hydrating, but feel so lightweight and not greasy on your skin. My skin always feels so soft and well moisturized after using their products and this lotion smells absolutely amazing. It has like a natural smell to it, not artificial and also not over, bearing or too much in your face. It’s just a perfect slight scent that stays on your skin.

This smells SOOO good! I’ve received so many compliments on the scent of this and had multiple people asking me what perfume I was using. This body cream has a nice thick texture that covers my skin, but I don’t feel oily. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and this has been my go to body cream to apply straight after the shower to lock in the moisture.

The Sweet Pineapple & Honey Melon body cream from Hempz is super thick. As with some body butters, it can look white when you’re applying it, but for me at least, it soaked in. I do have very fair (redhead) skin, but I think it would melt into anyone’s skin. I didn’t spend time rubbing at it trying to get the whiteness to go away and it did anyway. It has a nice, sweet scent, that fades a bit, which is nice if you don’t want to smell too strongly of it. I have very sensitive skin, and I put this on after using one of those crystal hair remover things and taking a shower. Those crystal hair remover things exfoliate the heck out of your skin, but this body cream didn’t irritate my skin at all. I also haven’t had any of that dry skin itchiness on my legs, and it’s the next afternoon now. This moisturizer didn’t make my skin feel sticky or greasy or like there’s a film on it. In short, it made my skin feel like I want it to feel.
Note: I use facial lotion for my face, so I cannot say how this product would affect facial skin.

The texture is rich and creamy but not too heavy—perfect for someone like me who prefers lightweight products. I usually shy away from stronger scents, but this one won me over. It’s a light tropical mix of juicy melon, pineapple, and mango that feels refreshing rather than overpowering. It’s like capturing summer in a jar.
One thing I love is how quickly it absorbs into my skin. I have really dry skin, especially on my hands and legs, and this cream provides long-lasting hydration without any greasiness. In fact, I can put on my clothes right after using it without worrying about residue or stains. I even use a generous amount, and it never pills up or feels sticky.
The hydration is impressive—it claims to last up to 72 hours, and while I haven’t waited that long between applications, my skin stays soft and smooth for a full day. It’s nice knowing that it’s petroleum-free and made with pure hemp seed oil too.

This is definitely a summer time sent you can smell the sweet melon for sure. The lotion is not super light and not too thick. Great for if you have dry skin. I’ve been putting this on right after I get out the shower and makes my skin feel nice and soft. The downside is if you try to wear perfume that day it may contrast with the sent of the lotion. I would recommend wearing it on days your not dressing up to go out. Ie; the gym, errands or just being home.

The scent of this lotion is so nice. It is sweet and fruity but not cloying or overpowering. It isn’t particularly strong and I found that this particular product’s scent didn’t last quite as long as the other style that I have by the Hempz brand, but it is enough to linger lightly after applied.
The consistency of this cream is pleasant – rich, creamy, and smooth without being greasy or slimy. It absorbs easily and quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling nice. It seems to be hydrating while still being gentle. I am not experiencing any irritation or skin sensitivity after using this cream.
I think I prefer Hempz pump bottle lotions slightly more than this tub of cream, but this is still a much better skin cream than a lot of what is out there. I think this is a bit overpriced at $25 for 16oz, though, so I’m not sure if the value is there for me.

I am really enjoying the Hempz products I am trying, and I like this one as much as the others! It is a nice full generous sized tub. When you open it, you will notice it is very thin, maybe the consistency of molasses. It goes on really smoothly and hydrates my skin nicely. It absorbs well so you don’t have that feel of heavy lotion or a sticky feeling after applying it.
It has a lovely sweet citrusy scent to it. I am not a huge pineapple fan but I really enjoy the way they balanced this scent with the honey and melon and pineapple. It is sweet and citrusy and the scents work incredibly well with this. I am going to use this all over my body not only for the lotion but also for the scent, instead of a body spray. You can definitely smell it but it is a light scent so not overpowering.
This is another great product from this company!!! I LOVE the products I have tried from them and this is a great body cream. Their products would be nice in gift baskets and as gifts. It does arrive just as the tub of lotion (which is fine!)
