    I got this as a replacement when more expensive units failed three times. It was pretty stiff in the beginning, but was as expected after about a week or two. It has been durable and performed well. It does not appear to be wearing out prematurely like the more expensive brands. I also like the smaller size.
    I don’t use full bars in it because I do not want to have soap melting, and don’t want a giant lump to be hanging onto.

    I decided to try this after trying several different mesh soap holders. I really like the Velcro closure on this one compared to how others cinch closed. However, the material is really rough. I know it’s supposed to be exfoliating, but it’s a bit too much for my skin. Also, it doesn’t lather up as much as the mesh ones do.

    You have to work with this pouch to get the lather up. It doesn’t produce a flurry of lather and it is not soft. It is not good with small bars of soap. It is good at exfoliating.

    I’m a frugal Yankee. It bothers me to throw away the small scraps of soap once the bar gets too small to use. The soap saver I have been using for over 15 years finally fell apart! I guess I got my use out of it. The problem with it was that it was one of those draw-string pouches and it was a pain to keep it closed while using it. I found this one with the Velcro closure and it seems to be working perfectly! It stays closed and the soap stays inside during use! Highly recommend!

    I really like this soap pouch. It’s just the right size for my hands & the bar soaps I use, (Although it meets my needs, I don’t think it would be big enough to accommodate large or oversized bars). The mesh is just right for exfoliating, yet it works for scrubbing my heels, too. The looped cord is perfect for slipping my hand through & for hanging up to dry. One of the things that was a deciding factor, for me, is the velcro closure so the soap stays put! Pricing point was great. Not sure of durability, have only used twice since purchasing. It seems very durable though, with a thin, sponge like material on the inside & the polyester mesh on the outside. Will definitely buy again, should the need arise.

    This scrubber is quite rough and doesnt lather well initially. If you leave your bar inside, it will break down and saturate it with the soap. THEN you can get a good lather without killing your skin. It fits standard size small bars of soap and it’s great for using the last slivers or pieces of a crumbling soap bar.
