This lotion is very moisturizing for your skin. My foot Dr recommended it. She has scraped my rough skin off. Then I applied this lotion two times a day. I use it all the t time and for my hands too. I’m a gardener. It doesn’t smell bad either.

It was my firts purchase of this Lotion hoping it would help with my dry, flaky skin, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. While the lotion is easy to apply and has a pleasant, mild scent, I did not see significant improvements in my skin condition.

After using the product consistently for a few days, my skin remained rough, with only minimal improvement. Additionally, I found the lotion to be a bit greasy, which made it uncomfortable to wear under clothing or before bed.

On the positive side, the packaging is convenient. However, given the high hopes I had for this product, I am quite disappointed with the overall performance. It might work for others, but for my skin, it simply didn’t deliver the results I was looking for.

I like that it works immediately to smooth out rough patches of dry skin. No frills packaging shows me that they put the most emphasis on the quality of the product inside the package.

I’ve only used this for two days so far. I apparently have KP, and I’m also a relentless skin picking ADHD so it was not working out with my legs. I looked up rough and bumpy skin lotion and this came up so my HSA covered it which I love, and, even just two days and three applications, I can already see and feel a huge difference on my legs. They feel softer and look smoother and less icky. Awesome! A little goes a long way!

This I’ve been using forever it’s the only thing that I’ve found to help my extremely dry skin

This product is really awesome for my KP! Keratosis pilaris results from the buildup of keratin — a hard protein that protects skin from harmful substances and infection. The keratin forms a scaly plug that blocks the opening of the hair follicle. Usually many plugs form, causing patches of rough, bumpy skin. I have KP all over. It makes my skin very rough and almost impossible to get a smooth shave on my legs. I get nicks and razor burn very badly so I am always open for anything that can help me with that. I started using AmLactin last year and found that it was great for removing the bumps but the scent is so strong and medicine-y and the consistency is so goopy it’s very uncomfortable. Recently I was looking around for yet another alternative and that’s when I found this product. It contains 12% Ammonium Lactate just like AmLactin but the scent is very light and reminds me of high quality sunscreen. It goes on very smooth and sheer and absorbs quickly, but most importantly it removes the bumps. It is so good that I end up getting a smoother shave with less or no nicks. The only thing is that if I stop using this lotion or any, the bumps will come back. So I can literally say I’ll be a customer for life. 🙂

This is not something you will want to smear on your face after a long, hot shower with some rich, deep exfoliation. If you have fresh or open skin, give it a little time to close back up, first. This product contains 12% lactic acid – an acid found in dairy products. Lactic acid is commonly used to treat try and sensitive skin because it is pretty gentle as far as the AHA/BHA acids go. It is not an oil-soluble acid (like salicylic acid), and so it does need to be applied to clean (though not necessarily exfoliated) skin so that it can really soak into the skin and make a difference. I would suggest washing your body part, allowing it to air-dry for ten or fifteen minutes (so that the skin is actually really dry – not just dry to the touch), and then putting this on so that it is soaked up nice and deep.

This product is great for itchy skin, dry skin, and is proven to be clinically effective in improving hyper-keratinic skin conditions such as keratosis pilaris. All in all, it is an excellent moisturizer and a great source of a gentle daily (or every-other-day) chemical exfoliation. As with any exfoliation routine, I would encourage you to start out slow… maybe use this on day 1 and 4 of each week for two or three weeks, then days 1, 3, and 5, and then just gradually increase the frequency. Be sure, too, to not use this with any other harsh cleansing products (a salicylic face wash, glycolic or trichloracetic peels) unless your skin is accustomed to being treated aggressively – otherwise, your pores will revolt by turning bright red and burning with the fury of a hundred thousand suns.
