Danyelli Laurette Lavender Lust Body Soap
This plant-based soap arrived simply wrapped in clear plastic with two air holes and a label. At 4 ounces / 113 grams, this soap is the same size as a typical bar of Dove soap. Like most homemade soaps, the shape of this one is rectangular, so it’s all angles, no soft curves. Until it’s used a bit it might feel a bit bulky.
I’m really enjoying the scent: primarily a blend of lavender and balsam fir essential oils. This soap is meant for sensitive skin, but some may find the essential oils irritating. Just above the label’s listed ingredients is a sentence that mentions “Lavender Oil and Pinus Balsamea Fir Oil”, but the lavender oil is left off the actual list (the balsam fir oil is listed). I’ve used the bar in the shower and have washed my hands with it, and I could only detect the scent on my skin if I looked for it (nose to skin). A good lather was produced both times, but I preferred this as a hand soap.

This has to be hands down the best hydrating soap I’ve ever used! Not only is is natural and organic but it nourishes the skin without leaving any thick film! You can feel the skin soaking up the ingredients to keep the skin nice and soft! This is my second bar! The only soap I’ll use besides their mushroom and lavender soap!

I have extremely sensitive skin and was a little nervous of using this product but all in all – I’m obsessed. It really is meant for sensitive skin, it’s still exfoliates my skin without causing any irritation or reaction on my skin! leaving it silk smooth. I was also surprised with how much it lathers, I can see this one bar of soap lasting me quite a while and I’ll deff be purchasing more!

I really like this soap. Using it feels like I’m treating myself to an expensive spa day. It is moisturizing, has all-natural plant-based ingredients, and it smells great. The scent is both a positive and a negative. I really like the smell but it took me by surprise. I was expecting more of a lavender smell, especially because the product page talks about it being made with lavender oil and the name of the soap is Lavender Lust. However, it smells more like a balsam fir (one of the other ingredients) combined with a menthol scent. Really pleasant and a similar smell to the one you’d get in a lot of expensive soap boutiques but it definitely isn’t the pure lavender smell you might be expecting. The soap left my skin feeling great and, although I have sensitive skin, I had no adverse reaction. It seems to be lasting a while, too. Because the scent isn’t really a lavender one and because I’m a cheapskate and this seems like a fortune to spend on one bar of soap, I deducted a star but, overall, it’s still an impressive product and one that I would recommend.

This soap smells amazing!!! And I love that the scent remains on your skin for a very light scent. The soap is made from pure plant based ingredients that left my skin feeling soft, moisturized and smelling heavenly. It lathered quickly and easily. Really the only thing that I can fault it for is the high price. I’ve purchased hand made plant based soaps before for half the cost of this one. I’m still giving it 5 stars though for the nice soap that it is.
Color Me Pizzazz –
This Danyelli Laurette Lavender Lust soap smells strongly of rosemary. The aroma is very strong and lingering. The soap lathers up nicely. It not only does not dry up my sensitive skin, it also made my skin feeling very soft and smooth after the shower. And it does not irritate my sensitive skin. Knowing this contains a long list of good organic ingredients also makes me feel great about using the soap. Just know this is a small bar soap and comes with minimum packaging. Based on its quality, this hand made soap would be great for self pampering or as a gift to pamper someone.

I have used one identical before and love this. I am not a fan at all of Lavender scented anything and never popped on that bandwagon…never will. Nevertheless, the mix here depletes that (awful to me) scent that everyone seems to love enough to not bother me. I have issues with strong scents and this is strong but won’t do me in!
Lather anyone? Well, here, have a bar of this luxurious lather! This is a well-made blend of things that create a glorious and helpful soap for your face and body. Immediately, as before, my skin looked and felt great.
It is quite giftable but only comes in a thin plastic wrap with holes so it can breathe. Poor thing, I am glad it did not suffocate on the trip here! So, it’d be best to mix it in with other things or make its own little something because it does not look gift-ish in any way. However, your recipients will be delighted once they use it, rest assured!
