I have a lot of pure supplement powders that I take and it can be tedious. Often I just do not have time to measure them out so I miss many days.
These capsules take a bit of work to get put together with the supplements but then it is easy each day. Just grab one and go. And most of my dry supplements have acids in them, I think citric acid. This is bad for your teeth unless taken with meals. The capsules help bypass your teeth.
I also like that these are made of plant materials and in the US

These gelcaps are the perfect size to hold most powdered supplement single servings. As a vegan, I appreciate that there are no animal ingredients. Some of the supplements I take come in doses that are too high for me, so I need empty capsules to divide them into smaller doses. I’ve used these capsules for several weeks now for that purpose and haven’t had any issues with them cracking or becoming easily dented. I trust Nutricost as a supplement brand because all of their products are third party lab tested in ISO-accredited facilities.

These capsules are perfect if you are looking for vegan sized “1” capsules, they are advertised as Kosher and Halal too.
They come packed in a resealable plastic pouch, that appears to do a good job in securing all 500 capsules. From looking at the package from the outside, it appears that there is not a single broken/crushed capsule, 100% survival rate!
Size “1” capsules are not very big, I would compare them to most pharmaceutical sized capsules, opposed to the size you typically see used for herbal supplements. After doing some research online, apparently size “1” capsules fit anywhere from roughly 200 grams to 550 grams, depending on the materials density etc.
The capsules are easy to work with, they pull apart smoothly and fit back together with no issues. Once put back together the connection feels secure. I do not have a capsule filling machine, so I am unsure how these would work in such a situation, but from what I can tell, these should work just fine in most machines/applications.
TL;DR These sized “1” capsules are exactly what you would expect, they were delivered in excellent condition too!

I’m an herbalist so I’ve been capitalizing my herbs for decades, I find it’s a lot healthier because if you buy in bulk powder, you don’t have any of the other ingredients that they add in like fillers and steric acid and magnesium steroid all the things that don’t really need to be in with the herb and take away from it.. Buying in bulk is much healthier and a heck of a lot less expensive than premade capsules. Capsule makers are available through many companies, including Amazon and it only takes a few minutes to do up about 25 at a time. These capsules are adequate for about 400 mg of herb. I recommend capitalizing your own herbs rather than buying them premade. I think it’s a healthier choice..

I ordered these to try instead of the brand I normally use. I can’t tell a difference and these are much cheaper. 500 will last a long time compared to the 100 packs I used to get.

The capsules from Nutricost come apart easily enough, and more importantly once put together with the ingredients inside, they stay together.
I have noticed that Amazon doesn’t have capsule filling machines. There is some sort of restriction on them. It seems crazy to allow empty capsules, tiny spoons to fill them, ingredients to fill them, but not the ‘machines’. I’m just so used to Amazon being my one stop shop.
I use The Capsule Machine. It can be sound with an internet search. It’s made in USA and under $20. It makes 24 capsules at a time. For me, that is plenty. Larger machines require holes to be filled if you’re making less than their capacity. Just be sure to get the proper size for the capsules you have, and vice versa.
