I have heard about how kelp could be a health benefit for people. It is a seaweed that is rich in minerals and vitamins, particularly iodine. This product is produced in the USA from a GMP-compliant (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility, which is important to me. I have used their products before without any issue. Like any supplement, it is important to not take too much. The capsules are easy to swallow and there is no after taste.

I am stuggling to get my health together. Long story short, I am trying everything I can think of to get my body to work better without being able to see a million doctors to get to the bottom of all my health issues.
Thyroid issues are a struggle for a lot of women and I figured I could try this supplement and see if there’s improvement in any aspect of my well being.
These capsules are easy to swallow and I’ve noticed no issues with them so far.
Only just begun adding them to my daily routine a few days ago and so far so good.

Kelp is rich in minerals and vitamins. Kelp is a seaweed — more specifically, brown algae. Grown in the ocean, it offers many times more nutrients than plants grown in soil.
This kelp supplement is labeled NON GMO, vegetarian, and is from a GMP-compliant ( Good Manufacturing Practice ) facility. These specifications are important!
The bottle is sealed with shrink tape around the cover and doubly sealed at the neck of the bottle. This assures me there has been no after-manufacture tampering in storage or in transit.
The expiration date and lot number are clearly stamped on the bottom of the bottle. Mine was dated to expire in 2025, so there is a good amount of unopened storage safe shelf life.
Kelp is rich in iodine as well as other essential vitamins and minerals.
BE SURE to read the entire label before you begin supplementing just to be certain it is safe for your individual situation!
I take kelp and appreciate all it offers me nutritionally. This is a good source for my health regimen!

Kelp is a good source of iodine, and iodine has quite a few potential benefits. Iodine is important for normal thyroid function, and even cognitive functioning. In fact, some experts believe that iodizing salt was a reason IQs jumped so much in the last century.
Some research suggests too much iodine can be bad for thyroid function, so be careful consuming too much. This is a fairly high dose of iodine, and even has more iodine than other kelp supplements.
I have had good experiences with this company and they claim accredited third-party testing, which is very encouraging. If you are looking for an iodine and/or kelp supplement, this is a great choice.

Kelp isn’t the greatest tasting supplement to take as a powder. In capsule form they are lots easier to take – they do tend to float in my mouth a bit when I try to swallow them with water. But if you are okay with taking pills, these are fairly easy to take and you bypass the taste.
I am trying these because I have an underactive thyroid and the iodine is supposed to help support the thyroid. I don’t expect to see much change but hopefully they will help keep it functioning where it is. Kelp is supposed to have quite a few other vitamins and possibly minerals that come out of the ocean so I figure it will help a bit at a cellular level too.

A little back story on why I take kelp:
After the birth of my secnd son, my thyroid was extremely depleted, as in common after pregnancy. I began experiencing the side effects of hair loss, outer eyebrow loss and extreme fatigue and exhaustion. I began to gain weight despite exercising and eating healthy.
It was recommended that I take a kelp supplement because of the benefits it has for the thyroid and I can tell you that it has dramatically improved it. Within 6 months of beginning to take kelp, all the symptoms disappeared and have not come back to this day. I periodically have my doctor test my thyroid levels and she is always impressed and a little astounded at how good my levels are, considering the fact that I have had 4 children. I swear by kelp.
This is a good and reliable brand. I am impressed with the dosage amount per serving size, which is only one capsule. These increase my energy levels, which is another added benefit.

A very pratical way to take kelp, not only known for being a healthy way to get iodine in one’s diet, but also for being rich in vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients. Iodine levels in kelp in food form can vary greatly. In a supplement like this, it is standardized to a specific dose. I find this very helpful in addition to benefitting from some of the synergy from the additional nutrients present in kelp.
This seems like a superior way to take a specified dose of iodine. Capsules are easy to swallow and avoid the taste issues of kelp that many of us are not used to. Coming from a well known, trusted company, this is nice to have to add to my regime.
