I have used other Now supplements for many years. For me, it is a trusted company. I think these capsules are standard in size and easy to swallow. There is no taste or odor. I feel like they work for me. I would get them again. The price is also reasonable at the time of this review at 20 cents a capsule. I only take one per day.

I regularly choose NOW brands of supplements as they’re an established, well-regarded company. I like to have these magnesium citrate capsules on hand if I have a need for the kind of use science recommends them for. Everyone should do their own research, because the different types of magnesium have very different purposes, and taking the wrong one or too much of one can have unpleasant results. There are different recommended levels for men vs. women and depending on age. The research says most people in the US get enough magnesium from a healthful diet.

I’ve been using Now Foods Magnesium Citrate capsules for a while now, and I’m really happy with them. The capsules are easy to swallow and don’t have any strange aftertaste. I like that Now Foods is a brand I can trust, and their products always feel high quality. Plus, the price is really reasonable, which is a huge plus. These are easy to swallow. There is no oder whatsoever. Contents of capsules are more easily absorbed by the body than tablets and magnesium citrate is one of the more absorbable forms of magnesium. Many people are lacking magnesium in their diet, and it’s best to supplement in divided doses as suggested on the label. There is 400 mg of elemental magnesium citrate in three capsules. I’ll probably just take two a day because I think I eat a fair amount of magnesium. If you take three a day it’s a bottle will only last you 20 days but if you take just two it will last you approximately a month.
Per the label these are made and tested in the US with globally sourced ingredients. The product is vegan. Expiration date is well in advance, 5 years to use up. Also per the label the bottle is made from 100% post consumer resin which is always a plus. Love fliptop lids!

Purchased for my wife now as we are getting older and her doctor recommended achieving a certain level of magnesium outside regular food. Her multi-vitamin has some, but not enough so got this one. We selected this one because it’s vegan, a well trusted brand, and how many milligrams of magnesium per capsule. These are easy to swallow and can be taken apart if you want to add to a smoothie. Will be purchasing these again.

I’ve been taking NOW Foods Magnesium Citrate for a few weeks, and it’s made a noticeable difference! My energy feels more balanced, and I’ve been less tense, which is great for managing stress. Magnesium was something I looked into to help in a few areas. The big ones for me were helping with my sleep and aiding in reducing stress; which has helped me keep my seborrheic dermatitis under better control.
I have used other vitamins and supplements from the NOW brand in the past and have never had any issues. The capsules are very easy to swallow and come at a price that doesn’t break the bank. Two big things that determine whether I will stick to a vitamin/supplement or not. No complaints here.
Bottom line:
If you need to incorporate more magnesium in your diet for whatever reason I would recommend this product and brand. The amount offered here is 20 servings of 3 capsules; which makes this amount seem more like a trial to see if it makes a difference. If it does, then I definitely recommend getting their larger bottle on a reoccurring subscription to save quite a bit of money after you run out of this.
