I have tried Nature’s Bounty and Puritan’s Pride. In my opinion, I notice better results with Nature’s Bounty. I’m on the side of near-sighted where I don’t need glasses for most things, except driving to see street/highway signs without squinting. I feel this brand gives me just a bit more.
The only reason why I deducted a star was that the lutein in all three bottles were stuck to each other which I believe is due to improper storage. They still work but a little concerned on the way the seller stores the product.

I’ve used Lutein for years for healthy eye support. Eating fresh greens and vegetables are important for eye health and I use the 40mg.

I’ve been taking these softgels for about a year because my eyesight is terrible. 🤓
They have very slightly improved my vision’s clarity, which I’m happy about.
Two weeks ago I was lying down without my glasses on and accidentally dropped my iPhone from a height of about 1 foot and the corner of the phone smacked my left eye! 😢
It hurt very bad and the next day I started seeing black floaters in my eye. 👁 A couple days later it continued to hurt bad, still with floaters, and I tried to stay out of the sun ☀️ because bright light made the pain worse.
I doubled the Lutein I was taking, but after another day or so I started seeing, in addition to floaters, the ‘black river map’ (capillaries) when I closed my left eye! So then I read up on eye injuries and was scared to read about detached retinas ,🥺 that they never self-heal, and side effects from surgery.
I was going to make appointment to visit eye doc, but then noticed the floaters had been diminishing in size and river map was less noticeable. So I’ve foolishly(?) waited. But no blurry vision, although I did had an extra goopy eye for a couple weeks.
So by today the floaters are gone except for the worst one, which is about the size of a teeny speck. And the pain is gone, although my eye has what could be described as occasional tiredness, and the river map is hardly noticeable anymore.
I’d like to think that taking these Lutein capsules strengthened my eyes. So that’s my anecdotal story and I’ll continue to use and buy this brand. 😄

Received the wrong amount. I ordered a 3 pack, but received a 2 pack!
