I am 100% that this stuff actually works. I had a strange hairline that would t fill in and this definitely helped it a lot! I used it 5-7 times a week for about 6 months and have noticed thicker hair on my legs, underarms too tho, so that’s kind of a bummer but not very much. Overall, I would say definitely try it!

Taking this product has helped me keep most of my hair for five or six years, but after a health crises last December, I lost most all of my hair. It didn’t help that I didn’t have access to my saw palmetto because I was hospitalized or in rehab for over a month. Thank goodness, after ten months, my old lady hair is finally looking much more shiny and thicker.. ( I also do weekly castor oil/aloe vera gel treatments to encourage hair regrowth.)

Great price per serving. Dose is a gram, handy scoop included. Got the powder instead of capsules. Husband is allergic to gelatin and had been emptying capsules and making a tea from the contents.
Here’s where the fun starts.
I’m at work.
My husband opens the container and calls, “There’s no scoop.”
“Try a quarter teaspoonful, the dose is a gram”, I respond.
No, he doesn’t want to guess.
Okay, “I’ll try the digital kitchen scale and we’ll see what volume is right.”
Later.
Nevermind, he’s found the scoop buried deep in the powder. “I don’t think this scoop is right. It looks like about 5-6 teaspoonsful”, says he.
“You mean like a coffee scoop?”, say I.
“Yes, I used the scoop and made a cup of tea. It tasted awful and there’s no way there’s 227 does in here”
“Okay, dear. They must have enclosed the wrong scoop. We can still try the weighing option.”. (Seriously, why?)
Later.
“Hey there was another scoop further down in the powder. It’s tiny, less than a teaspoonful, Tastes much better using this scoop.”

It does seem to be helping and the taste is what he expected when the proper amount is used.

The first tub of this that I bought was great and I could feel the desired effects after a few days of consistent use. It was the right color (almost a cream color) and texture (velvety powder) with little flavor. Would’ve had a 5 star rating from me, but… there is always a but. The second tub I got is a super deep and dark brown and the texture is much, much grittier. It has a distinct taste that is not good, like it tastes unhealthy. That gritty texture keeps it from mixing properly. I still tried taking it because i can’t afford to take the hit financially, and it’s an active part in my endocrine treatment. It’s been turning my #2’s unusual colors and I’m not feeling the effects, like i was before. I waited about a week or 2 to open it after receiving it because I still had some left from the older one that I bought and wanted to keep it fresh. I won’t be making that mistake again. I am sad to have to find an alternative, but I can’t afford to gamble with my money on bad products. If the company can send a replacement and guarantee to do so in any future quality mishaps, I may still give a 5 star, but in the meantime, 1 star. Do not ingest this product if it is the wrong color.

No more bendy nails after washing the dishes or taking a shower! I have always struggled with nails that break or bend easily. I’ve been taking collagen for a while and it’s helped a little. However when I read that Saw Palmetto works with collagen to actually strengthen your hair and nails, I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so happy I did! Each morning I take both my collagen and saw palmetto and after just 3 months my nails are no longer ‘bendy’! OH JOY! I can use my hands, wash the dog, or do the dishes without fear it will ruin my chance to play my guitar properly!

I’ve been using saw palmetto for years and try to buy bulk supplements when I can since I dump the contents out of the capsule and discard it. This one has a nice dark color and rich smell. Definitely recommend it.
