I am not pregnant but wanted a reasonable prenatal so I wasn’t taking too much of any one vitamin. This puppy made everyone in my family nauseous and we all commented on that joy you feel when you burp fish oil for hours. Thinking back on the heady days when I was pregnant these would have made me barf, 100%, and I wasn’t particularly queasy after the first couple months. Can’t really recommend to anyone who is pregnant nor to anyone who dislikes burping fish oil. Gross.

So it’s definitely one of the best “bang for your bucks” as far as prenatals go. But this bottle and a previous bottle (I did return the last one) had a capsule that burst inside the bottle and it smells TERRIBLE. I decided I’d give them another chance because of cost but after receiving my 2nd busted bottle I probably will not be repurchasing.

Look, it’s no secret that prenatal vitamins by nature are not appetizing. Maybe I should blame the 5 years it’s been since my last pregnancy for the lapse of memory, but I was not expecting the nauseatingly odorous stink as I popped this bottle open. The pills are large, and the stink clings to my fingers long after I choke down the horse pill that tastes like I’m eating a capsule of garbage disposal. As I said, maybe all prenatal vitamins are the same, but I can’t remember. Regardless, they were cheaper than most brands I came across and provide all the nutrients my growing baby needs, so I will continue my nightly torture ritual. Don’t let me deter you from buying these, just be cautious if you’re weak stomached. Blessings on your baby journey.

These pills smell awful. It will be hard to take it especially if you’re already pregnant. Also, it came with this weird substance on the inside of the bottle and stuck to the pills. I was completely grossed out and couldn’t stomach these! I wish I would’ve listened to the previous reviews, but I’ve purchased in the past when the label was different, and it wasn’t the same result. The prev pills had a slight odor but nothing that turned your stomach, and there was no residue on them.
I wish I could send these back but I bought them in advance because my current ones were going to run low. By the time it was time for me to start taking them, it was one day after the last return day! I’m SO disappointed and wish I could get my money back.

I did my best to research these vitamins and I didn’t find anything negative that I found with other prenatal vitamin brands. I did a smell test, and my conclusion is that the vitamins have a normal multivitamin smell. Although, if I was pregnant and my nose became quite sensitive to smells, I would probably feel the same as the other ladies. I also don’t detect a fishy smell on the actual pill or on my fingers that I used to put the pill in my mouth. The size of the vitamins are long, but quite thin so they go down quite easily. So far I’m very impressed with these. I’ve purchased two bottles which is enough for a year’s worth. I think they will do well.
