I ordered this to try with various workouts. Something I did NOT like with other products is that sometimes a preworkout will burn you out and leave you with no energy. This product seemed to have more endurance and help throughout a session, rather than a huge boost in the beginning. The mixability was fine with water, but the unflavored mix was definitely not pleasant. I would try to mix this with something, however some people may not want to if there is a calorie concern or you don’t want to get full off a smoothie.

I got this because I wanted to have an additional pump to my Pre-Workout. I’ve been using it for about 1 month now and I do notice a difference. I’m able to push myself a little harder and my endurance is slightly better compared to when I was just taking the Pre-Workout alone. The issue is taste, it’s gross to put it lightly. Overall this a great sup to add to your Pre-Workout, the taste is off putting but the results outweigh the taste. I love that legion is a science based company and everything is third party tested.

I haven’t noticed much difference in my workout but it comes with a small little scooper which I use to add to the rest of my dry products added to my smoothie. I mix up little bottles of all my dry products and make 3 weeks worth of smoothie mixes. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and it doesn’t have much flavor when combined with other stuff.

I use this as a pre workout when I’m not really for that energy boost. Whenever I lift heavy, run long, or do a hiit workout, I will use this. I lie to supplement this when I workout in the afternoon or if I’m just not wanting the intense extra energy.
It is unflavored, so you definitely wanna mix with a flavored liquid because it doesn’t have a good flavor by itself as it shouldn’t. It mixes really well and I do feel a boost. I also love Legion because they have good products with pretty clean ingredients and great taste.

“Unflavored” is a flat out lie – there absolutely is a flavor…and it’s like a chalky residue of a cheaply flavored vanilla protein shake. I don’t like it at all…and it 100% RUINED the Legion pre-workout I tried to mix it with. Not only did it turn the pre-workout a disgusting sewage brown color, but it tasted AWFUL! I thought I was going to taste the tropic punch pre-workout or whatever island flavor that was…NOPE – completely drowned out by whatever gross flavor this nitric oxide booster has. Honestly I threw it away after pouring out the abomination of a drink it made.

You need to be careful with this energizer but in a good way. If your training is based on strength and endurance this is the magic formula for you. After years in the gym, some energizers will give you a surge and quickly be depleted after a few minutes that is why is important to find one that is clean and slowly digested so the energy will be longer lasting. If you need a bump in energy for your workouts this is the formula.

I was looking for a caffeine-free pre-workout for afternoon and evening workouts because if I use a caffeinated supplement I’ll have trouble sleeping.
It does a good job but it’s really hard to tell how much of it is the effectiveness of the supplement vs. my overall daily food and other supplements. The reason I’m saying that is because I find it easier to evaluate a pre-workout that I take early in the morning where I can assess how fast it awakens me and how sustainable the energy is.
If the main purpose of this supplement is the pump, then it does a good job there.

I weight train three (3) days/week. Between those days, I fit in Pilates, swim, bike. I train for both strength and endurance; for me these are complementary goals and they help each other.
For strength training, you want to hit a point of progressive overload. However some days I simply run out of fuel before I run out of strength; this is NOT for lack of calories. This is the opportunity I am seeking to leverage with pre-workout energy; I want to fuel my workouts. Although this seems to also support endurance training, so I may see what it can do on bike or swim day (which is almost purely endurance as I train distance and not sprint)?
This is primarily Arginine and Taurine; with some citrus, grape seed extract, fillers. One bonus point here is lack of caffeine!!! I have found many of these pre-workout supplements make me caffeine jittery, and I drink two (2) double espressos every morning so I know caffeine. I don’t drink espresso on workout day when I take caffeinated preworkout, but I am a lot more jittery than normal espresso day. Anyway, no caffeine here and that is important to me.
For now, I just got these and really need some time before I can give results.
