Review for: BioTRUST BlenderBottle Classic Shaker Bottle, 28-Ounce with loop
I have a smaller, 20 ounce ‘BlenderBottle’ and needed something a little bigger – especially when it is really hot out, and I need to keep hydrated.
The top of this bottle, except for the color, is the same as my 20 ounce ‘Blender Bottle’ and even has the same name and logo.
The actual bottle part is also very similar, except the way the bottom is designed. On the BioTRUST blender bottle, the bottom is completely flat while on the name brand blender bottle, the bottom is recessed and only the outer edge comes in contact with whatever you’re setting it down on.
Other than that, if you like the color scheme with the green lid, go for it

I am so happy with this blender bottle! The quality is great, and overall, it feels very solid. Well-made with durable materials. I expect that this will last me for quite a while. I like the aesthetic and color palette. Plus, the little blender piece inside works well to mix in supplements, protein powder, etc., while on the go. It’s nice that it’s see-through so I don’t have to wrongly guess that the powder has all been blended in and instead get a clump of protein powder on the first swig. I’m so impressed with the solid feel of the plastic too – it’s the type of plastic that likely won’t crack if you were to drop it. So far, it’s also completely leakproof, which is impressive given its sleek build quality, and the lid snaps closed securely. Awesome.

This is a perfect, clear, blender bottle. Use this for working out when I want to add different powders to the drink. Small metal ball inside helps break up and disperse.
Even without the blender side, works great for a water bottle as well. Lid keeps the water sealed in well, has a good snap for the open and close of the drinking section so you easily can tell if it’s closed properly.

I love this style of blender bottle. I use a protein powder that is pretty tough to incorporate, and these provide enough blending that it gets fully incorporated with relatively minimal effort.
The thing I like about this one even more than the others I have is the capacity. Most of mine hold 16 oz., so the 28-oz capacity is really great! I prefer the powder to be less sweet than it is, so with the bigger bottle, I can dilute it to my preference.
And, of course, being dishwasher-safe is a MUST. Which this is. 🙂

This is a game charger when it comes to mixing and kind of powder drink. I used to just use a spoon and spend 10 minutes mixing but this thing changed all that! Now you can have your protein drink or what have you mixed in like 30 seconds! Love it

BlenderBottle makes a great product. Once you snap the lid shut, the bottle is truly leak-proof, and I don’t worry about putting it in a bag or it getting accidentally knocked over. The plastic is BPA free and feels thick enough and sturdy.
The stainless steel ball inside is evidently made of good quality steel because I have not had any issues with rust.
I actually prefer the classic design to the newer variants. The spout lid closes with the right amount of force and has a satisfying “click”.
One criticism I have of this particular bottle is that when you’re mixing something in like a protein powder for example, it has a tendency to accumulate in the bottom corners since the ball cannot really reach those areas. I don’t believe it’s something to knock off points for, but it’s something that I’ve noticed. It does a good job mixing things up aside from that nitpick.
