There is literally ZERO reason to include MILK/whey in an a blood orange/detox drink. Why in the world would whey or milk products be included in this? It seems bizarre and for those of us who don’t expect it to be there, very unfortunate. Please realize, if you’re avoiding dairy/milk, this HAS DAIRY IN IT for no real reason at all.

Sometimes a cleanse is just what the body needs to reset. I saw this FreedomCafe 5 Day Detox Cleanse Ade Blood Orange Flavor – 5 Pack (16.90oz) – Supports Healthy Digestive and Regular Bowel Movements, Detox Cleanse for Weight Management and Belly Fat – Bowel Cleanse, and thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t interested in doing a whole five day cleanse right now, but wanted to try one dose to see if it had any effect. Most of the label is in Korean, but one panel of the outer box is in English. The packets are quite large and include 100 ml of a liquid you can drink straight, or mix with water. According to the label, they do contain milk; the third listed ingredient is lactulose. The liquid is a dark orange-brown color and a bit thick. It tastes surprisingly good, like concentrated orange, and is very sweet. Although you can drink it straight, I mixed in some water. I opted to take it in the early afternoon rather than at night before bed. Within an hour or so it produced the desired effect in the bathroom, and again about an hour later. I didn’t experience pain at all, but it does cause gas, at least for me. And you should plan to be in close proximity to a restroom when nature calls, because it’s pretty urgent.
You feel quite satiated and not hungry after drinking the Detox Cleanse. It’s important to drink a lot of water, though. This stuff is effective, and I like that it has clean ingredients and is keto friendly. Glad I found this and will plan to use it again for mini cleanses.

I wasn’t expecting too much. In fact I was wary. I drank one of the packets. The flavor is strong! It’s blood orange but it has a grapefruit aftertaste. Taste aside, in about an hour it began working it’s magic. I have to say that the experience was better than I had hoped. While my body was detoxing and getting rid of all of the negative stuff within, my stomach was not cramping up or anything painful. It was making the gurgling noises but no pain. So to that effect I have to say that this detox aide is a big win.

This detox works great, but for me it caused a lot of pain for the first two days i was on this cleanse. I’m already very thin and i didn’t want to lose any weight, but i wanted to make my stomach flatter since i have never done a cleanse like this before. I drank it before i went to bed because i thought it would just make me go to the bathroom easily in the morning, but after about 3 hours of drinking it i had a severe pain for about an hour or so before i had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I started drinking it earlier in the day but when i knew i wouldn’t be leaving my house. After the second day of awful pain my stomach actually looked flatter in an area that i always felt bloated. The next 3 days of the cleanse i didn’t feel any extreme pain, but i did have to go to the bathroom a few hours after i drank every packet. I had to drink a lot of water and juice and protein shakes during this cleanse because it would make me very dehydrated. The drink itself was very thick and i was afraid it would taste bad, but it tastes similar to vitamin c tablets. It doesn’t taste bad on its own, but it is better cold and i like to mix it with strawberry banana v8 because it was very thick and sweet. I did feel a little dizzy and nauseous after drinking the cleanse some days. Though some days of this detox were really awful the result were worth it because i can tell that it really helped clean out my system and my stomach looks a lot flatter.

The product suggests to take it before bedtime and drink plenty of fluids during the day. I followed directions closely. My morning weight fluctuates between 185-188lbs weekly. Typically closer to 185-186. Your mileage may vary but here are my results:
Before starting I was at 187.4
Day 1:
– I went to the bathroom way more than normal. It was an immediate effect. It wasn’t pleasant as it also included gases…
Day 2:
– Bathroom visits were normal, but gassy all day and unpleasant with stomach pain.
Day 3:
– still gassy but not as much. Nothing else stood out.
Day 4;
– still gassy but back to close to normal
Day 5:
– gassy but pretty much normal.
Morning weight after all 5 days:
186.2 – honestly I think I would be at that same weight with or without this cleanse since it’s in my normal weekly range. (Held steady for 2+ years).
Since it was less than the starting weight and I did feel my stomach trying to work overtime I’m giving it 3 stars. If the weight had managed to get slightly below 185 I’d been more impressed.
It’s an orange flavored liquid and it’s fine, easy to drink. Packages open easily, and come in a heavy duty cardboard box.
Recommendation is mixed. I wouldn’t do it again.

It helped bowl movement. Easy to take, just tear it open and drink from the bag. Flavor is okay and not too sweet.

I am basing this review on .5 serving since it recommended for milder effects. It definitely works. Be close to a bathroom in about two hours after you take it. It will make you uncomfortable. Be prepared!! I watered it down and the flavor wasn’t bad.
