i was looking for a mullein tincture that was just mullein (the hunt continues!) and thought i’d found one but there is chlorophyll in this one, it’s just not listed in the ingredients. one entire side of the box is dedicated to the benefits of chlorophyll but that’s not shown in the stock photos (though the green liquid is, so i should have been paying better attention!) the tincture has a slightly sweet, mild flavor, easily taken alone or in smoothies/teas/juices without altering the taste at all. my issues are – besides the inaccurate labeling, there’s several typos both in the listing and on the box, not lending much confidence in quality and accuracy, however i haven’t noticed any ill effects and prefer the flavor of this supplement to separate chlorophyll, so even though i got it for the mullein, i’ll continue to use it because i do sometimes take chlorophyll separately but prefer this blend.

Pure, organic Mullein Syrup, works well as a demulcent and expectorant without any nasty chemicals. Solves problems without creating new ones. The natural way to heal.
It tastes good and it’s easy to take. It is a very clean supplement. It came double sealed (the box it was in was factory shrink wrapped and the bottle itself was also sealed around the cap) for purity and safety. It came in a glass bottle, not plastic and the glass is a dark amber color, to best preserve the contents. The dropper works very well.

After discovering Mullein leaf for the first time last year, I’ve been taking supplements with this ingredient ever since. I know that experiences with supplements can be hit or miss, but my experience with Mullein leaf have been great. The last supplements were a tincture like this one, which I prefer since I believe they tend to be more effective for me than pills or tablets. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available. So, I decided to give this one a try.
As with any new brand, I was worried about the efficacy of this product. Thankfully, like the last one, this worry proved to be unfounded. I’ve been taking it now for about a week now and they work as well as the other tincture I had been using. I was also worried about the taste as the last one was very tolerable but I know not all liquid supplements are. The good news is it tastes fine. Like a very, very mild fruit cough syrup. It’s so subtle that you won’t even taste it in any flavored drink (like coffee or soda).
My only issue with this product is that the dosage instructions are inconsistent. Under Suggested Use, it recommends taking 10 drops twice per day. However, the Supplement Facts state a serving size as 6 drops or 2ml. However, if you actually measure 2ml it works out to about 20 drops. Since this is supposed to be a 60-day supply and it contains 120ml, I’ve been going with the 20 drops per day (2ml) and it’s been fine. But that label needs to be changed to make this clearer. Apart from that, I’m happy with this Mullein leaf supplement. If you’re looking to improve your lung health, I’d give this a try.

UPDATE: Before posting my review I followed up on another one, with similar results. The distributor’s address is for a company that receives service of process for their clients. The website URL is for sale and I can’t find the company listed anywhere. I did not realize the product was made in China, for I don’t ingest product from there, and I can’t find the manufacturer listed anywhere, either. Keep this in mind when reading the following, which was my experience of the product…
Normally I think supplement bottles coming in a box is an unnecessary cost that gets passed on to me, but considering how beat up this box was, maybe it’s not a bad idea when the bottle is glass and is full of liquid.
I love mullein because it made my last cold possibly the easiest one I’ve ever had. That was with mullein gummies, and liquid is supposed to allow the body to absorb and utilize it even better, so I’m happy about a 4oz bottle of it (most of my liquid supplements come in 1-2oz bottles).
The bottle is full to the neck and has 60 servings. I don’t take it daily unless I’m having issues with breathing or congestion, so expect it will last well beyond two months.
The expiration date on my box (it’s nowhere on the bottle) is Mar 2026, so two years from now.
It has a scent that actually smells like it might taste good, and a color that in nature I have only seen MAYbe in juice squeezed from grass clippings. And as it turns out, it does taste good. Well, not a lot of flavor, just some sweetness from the glycerin. But at least I am able to drop it under my tongue and not cringe (like I do with most other liquid supplements).
I like that the bottle says non-GMO, organic, and GMP-certified. I would also like to see 3rd-party tested and Made in the USA.
One thing to take note of: “Suggested Use” on the bottle says take 10 drops twice a day, and “Serving Size” says 2m (approx 6 drops)”. The serving size is wrong regardless of whether it means drops or droppers because 6 drops is about .25ml and 2ml is two half droppers full (see marks on the dropper). Based on the 120ml bottle and it having 60 servings, I go with 2ml each time, morning and night.

It appears all natural with the way the solution looks and it has a natural taste. I’m used to using mullein gummies and for me the extract in liquid form didn’t seem to be effective.

I believe in the benefits of mullein. Taste and appearance is the same as other brands of mullein that are imported. I suppose there is no real reason for concern, but the distributer’s information did not easily yield to an internet search nor did a GMP quality certification.

I’ve been drinking this daily and have experienced no adverse side effects. I was confused by the dosing. The package says a serving size is “2 ml, approximately six drops.” When you look at the dropper itself, it has handy little markings for 1 ml, which is almost a full dropper., way more than six drops. Other than that little confusion, this tastes good, a bit sweet, definitely palatable.
