I recently purchased the That’s It Fruit Blends Energy Bar – 18 Count Variety Pack, and my son was happy that I did. He has enjoyed some of the other flavors in the past. I was unsure if I would like them. However, I found them to be pretty good.
The bars remind me of a very thick fruit leather. They taste good, even the pina colada flavor, which I usually do not like. These bars have been a good pick-me-up for me in the afternoon. Instead of reaching for a candy bar, I have been having one of these. They are sweet, but not too sweet, so my sugar craving is satisfied too.

Today I tried the mango lime blends. I love the low calorie and fat count of the snack and was hopeful that it would be a new go to snack for me because the price point for 18 bars is perfect. The first thing I noticed when I opened the pack is that there is a very strong odor from the bars. The bars themselves are not very large, which is OK if they’re filling, however I found these bars to be very chewy similar to the consistency of a fruit rollup. The flavor of these bars was a bit overpowering for me and leaves an aftertaste. A pro for me was reading the ingredients on the label and 1) there were only five ingredients listed and 2) All five ingredients were natural things that I had heard of and not something created in a factory somewhere.

The taste is definitely interesting, but since the bars are small, they get eaten quick, so the flavor doesn’t matter too much. Each bar gives a solid little energy boost, which makes them perfect to grab on the go. The tropical flavors are fun, but the size makes it feel more like a snack than a full energy bar. Still a great option for keeping in your bag or desk for a quick pick-me-up

I got the That’s It Fruit Blends Energy Bars to keep at work for afternoons when I’m feeling a bit tired. I like that there were VERY few ingredients and that they are all natural. Unfortunately, they aren’t for me.
The bag comes with 18 bars inside. Aside from the company name and address, there is ZERO information about what is inside though. If I hadn’t ordered them from Amazon and just saw these in the store, I would have never purchased them without any product info. This is especially true since the product contains tree nuts and you wouldn’t know that until you opened it up. Inside, each of the three flavored bars list the flavor name and all of the ingredient and nutritional information. I love that there are only natural ingredients and there are less than half dozen ingredients total. No added sugars or preservatives and made in the US.
The texture isn’t the best and reminded me of a thicker, chewy fruit rollup type feel. It wasn’t that pleasant to me. The smell is very strong and, even with the ingredients being only fruit, it had a chemical smell which, I assume, is the caffeine. The amount of caffeine included isn’t listed and it just states the same amount as a shot of espresso. I ate one around 2pm at work but never got a noticeable burst of energy. The taste is very strong. You can definitely taste the fruits used, but it is overpowered by a bitter aftertaste (again, I assume from the caffeine) that isn’t pleasant.
Now, my tastes are my own and, while I didn’t like it, my coworker tried one so I could get another opinion. She doesn’t eat candy or sugar and really liked the Mango Lime bar. She did, however, state that it was something she would eat occasionally but not buy an entire bag.
Overall, I am sort of mixed on the That’s It bars. I love that the ingredients don’t require a degree in science and are all natural, I don’t love the texture or aftertaste. Unfortunately, they aren’t filling for me, nor does the caffeine give me a boost of energy. At $30 for 18 bars, I think they are well priced though.

I very much enjoyed these energy bars, they are dense and chewy and tasted quite fruity, they matched the described flavors well. They are great to keep in the car for when you need extra energy or don’t feel like stopping anywhere to get a caffeine fix. In an ideal world they would have more protein but for what they are they are exactly as described.

The little fruit bars are delicious. The tropical passion and pina colada taste very similar, probably because they both contain pineapple but the coconut and passionfruit due come through. I can also taste a hint of bitterness due to the caffeine. The texture is soft and chewy. The bars are small but they are very dense so they do provide a satisfying snack.
I like that these bars contain just four ingredients; two fruits, caffeine from coffee and sea salt. All organic. We all know that organic food is always more pricey and these are indeed on the pricey side. Eighteen in a bag at the cost of thirty dollars brings these to around $1.67 each. That is less than a cup of coffee from a coffee shop though.
These are perfect for when I need an energy boost but don’t feel like drinking coffee. (I don’t drink energy drinks at all because I don’t like the jitters or the crash). I get the little bit of energy the fruit provides along with the boost from naturally derived caffeine. All without consuming any sugar and only 60 calories.
“That’s It.” energy fruit bars are a winner in my book. I’d definitely purchase more when these are gone.
