MusclePharm restored (and improved) their old formula. These are now the best protein bars on the market, in my opinion. I’ve tried dozens of other protein bars. For the macronutrients in this bar (protein, fats, carbs) and the fiber content, these are the best tasting bars out there. There’s other bars with 0 fiber that taste like candy bars…Because they are candy bars + a whey blend…But if you want the fiber, nothing will beat these in flavor.
Pros:-Tons of flavor options
-All taste pretty good, but Cookie dough and PB are the best.
-12g of fiber per bar. That’s over half of the minimum amount of fiber most people will need per day, ideally. Fiber is probably the most important part of any good diet after 1) Calorie intake 2) Good macronutrient ratio (proteins, fats, carbs)
-Good price per bar
-Leave you satisfied in fullness and cravings
-Doesn’t stick to inner layer of packaging
-Stays soft even when refrigerated
Cons:-Melt very easily (may be a pro for people who like to microwave their bars). Don’t leave out in the sun in your car.
-Not a full meal replacement. I use them more as a supplement. Eaten with a shake or some other form of protein.
-Eating several a day will probably cause digestive issues for some.
Well done, MP…Went from a 4-star bar to a 1-star bar after the formula switch to cornstarch fiber, then rebounded to a 5-star bar. They’re even softer and more delicious than the originals. Assuming the macros/fiber aren’t a complete lie (supplement companies can be shady…), these are the best bars out there Try them for yourself.

This solves the purpose. I can carry it anywhere. I take it when I am unable to take a protein rich diet.
When I got it was a bit melted probably because of the heat but in two days it become normal. Not super tasty but is better then some of the protein bars that I have had.

I’ll be getting these again. Although a tad pricey, they are sure cheaper than quest bars. I need gluten free bars and these things taste like a chocolate bar. Don’t get them warm or they melt easy.
They are not super hard or super chewy too which is a nice change. ESPECIALLY being someone who eats a ton of gluten free food. 20g of protein and 200 cal seems to be about on point for bars too.
The flavor I gave 4 stars, it could be a BIT better, but i’m going to destroy this box fast, so they are obviously good. haha

I’ve tired every flavor of MusclePharm Combat Crunch Bars, most of the Paleo protein bars and a good bit of the Quest bars. Paleo aren’t edible and I’m not a picky eater. Quest are okay, texture is bland and the flavors are just okay. MP taste and texture are a country mile better, especially Peanut Butter Cup. Keep in mind these are not candy bars, and don’t taste as good as a snickers (duh). But, the PBC is tasty enough that I crave it as a snack, the rest of them are good for protein bars, PBC is just good.
Peanut Butter 10/10: Hands down the best, I’d eat it for the flavor. It has a subtle peanut butter flavor and good texture. I only get PBC now.
White Chocolate Raspberry 8/10: Has a surprising amount of Raspberry flavor, very tasty.
Cinnamon Twist 7/10: Great flavor, wish it had more cinnamon flavor, but one of the better flavors.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough 5/10: Has great texture, and just so so taste. Taste is similar to Quest just better texture.
Cookies & Cream 4/10: Easily the worst MP CCB, doesn’t have a Cookies and Cream flavor at all. Its not terrible and is edible its just bland. I’d probably take a Quest bar over this flavor

Holy monkey… these are really delicious. I’ve tried a lot of different protein bars and these are BY FAR the best ones I’ve had. They actually do take like PB cups and arent chalky at all; nice and soft!

The protein bars taste great and a good source of protein with 20g. However, our last two shipments have arrived in paper pouches, so the inside box is just destroyed. Plus, since the bars are coated in chocolate they have melted during the shipping process. So now the bars have melted chocolate and fall apart as you try to eat them, so not something you can easily eat during a workout.

When I first ordered these, I was hesitant to try a new bar because I was always into Quest bars for their nutritonaly value. Looking up Combat crunch bars, I saw that they were pretty comparable (maybe a few more net carbs and calories than quest, but still not bad) and so I decided to give them a try. Mostly, I wanted something that had more of a crunch to it. I was looking for something with different textures because I was tired of the uniformity of the quest bars (super chewy and not much crunch). So I looked at reviews for flavors and since I’m a peanut butter person, I ordered these.
Size wise, they are bigger than quest bars, and the difference is noticeable. When I unwrapped it, I saw that it looked chocolately and crunchy, like a candy bar — that was exciting. When I bit into it, I LOVED the differences in texture I immediately felt. The outside was super crunchy and the inside was nice and chewy. And what I really enjoyed was that it didn’t have that chalky bitter protein aftertaste that MANY protein bars have.
Apart from the quest bars, there bars have to be some of my absolute favorite!

Definitely worth a try if you want to try something new to your taste buds without all of the added guilt!
