I am a big fan of electrolyte/hydration drink mixes. Even though I use a popular brand that I absolutely love, I’m always open to trying other brands and flavors. I tend to love lemonade and just the taste of lemon in general, so I thought this would be a good option for me.
It says that it can be mixed in 16-32 oz of water, and I would agree with that. With some hydration drinks, if you go much above 20oz, you will really minimize the flavor, but that’s not the case with this one. It maintains a good flavor even with a volume of water closer to 32oz.
The bag has individual packs of the powder that you mix with your water. I found it very easy to mix – I just added the powder to my water, closed the lid on my bottle and shook it by hand. No need to blend it or use a frother.
The taste is good. Not too sweet, not too sour. It didn’t taste like anything amazing, or even like a really yummy lemonade, but it didn’t taste bad at all. It was agreeable and didn’t leave a strong sugar-free taste in my mouth as some drinks do.
I do like that this is lower in sodium than other electrolyte powders I’ve tried, and you can tell the different in the flavor as a result.
That all being said, this drink did not quench my thirst at all. Now of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not doing something internally and making differences in other ways, but the entire time I was drinking this, I remained thirsty. I haven’t noticed that issue with other hydration powders, so I don’t know if that’s due to the differences in this one, or if it’s some other variable that caused me to remain thirsty while (and after) drinking this.
I do like that this says that it helps with body alkalization and kidney health. I obviously have no simple way to test or prove that (that I know of), but if it does indeed do those things, that’s a definite plus.
Another thing I’d like to note is that I did have some indigestion about two hours after drinking this. I have no idea if that’s related to this product for sure, but I did have a pretty mild dinner about an hour before starting to drink this (and it was a dinner that never causes me issues), and didn’t have anything else to eat – so it would seem that the digestive issues came from this.
The last thing I’ll say is that I do find this product to be a bit pricey. At almost $2/pack, that can become costly quickly. However, being about to use one packet of powder in 32 oz of water can help you to stretch the product further, thus reducing the cost per serving close to $1, which is more reasonable.
If you’ve been looking for a lower sodium option of a hydration drink with a good flavor, this is worth checking out.

This is not a drink for “I’m running a marathon” or “2 hour spin class” days. But really, this is a nice balance of electrolytes for days when you might be doing dome light aerobics, or yoga, or, honestly, just drinking a lot of water and don’t want to throw off your electrolyte balance too much.
The focus here is on potassium and magnesium, which are easy to miss out on. For a light day, a heavy sodium drink might be too much. They call this “low sodium” and compared to other dinks it is, but it’s still 140 mg. Honestly, nobody needs to worry about sodium on light days. Most people get plenty of salt in their diet for just walking around.
They load you up on B6, which is funny, only because it seems like everyone is doing that lately. B6 is good for your brain and for your overall metabolism. It can also give you the feeling of extra energy because it adds to your alertness. It’s unlikely that this drink would cause problems unless you drink a *lot* of it all in one day, but you can get too much B6, so be careful about taking heavy B-supplements and then this on top of it. (This is 3.5 mg/serving and you need something like 100 mg in a day for it to be problematic).
I like the way this tastes, and it dissolves fairly well. Being easy to mix it obviously important.
The biggest negative is the price. I usually don’t include price in my star-rating, but two bucks a pop is high to me. At the same time, I’ve seen weaker drinks go for more than that so my that’s just the way things are these days. Still, at that price point, I’m probably not going to make something like this a regular thing.
All in all, this is a nice change of pace from the “MEGA electrolytes” for days when you just need a little kick.

I loved the taste of this drink, and after drinking it every day, I felt like my dehydration was gone. This is an amazing drink, and it’s way better than other liquid IV drinks that have a lot of sodium. I would highly recommend it to people who work out or have a daily routine. It’s perfect for staying hydrated and replenishing electrolytes without all the extra salt.

The taste is just perfect. Not too overpowering and extremely refreshing. I’ve used it after I open my fast in Ramadan and it really helps to quench my thirst and rehydrate. Highly recommend !
