The Taste is very chalky, it’s not as foamy as other clear protein powders but I definitely Shake everything twice. It leaves pieces of pineapple chunks or something and can sometimes be very sticky. The pineapple taste is really great and it’s a great price!

I can’t stand regular protein powders as they taste like a thick milkshake and make me sick. Until now I’ve been drinking IsoPure’s juice flavored protein powders but the few I have tried have an odd chemical taste to them.
This NutraBio has the standard blue raspberry flavoring, and the consistency of water making it easy to drink. I’ve only noticed one or two small flakes that are slower to dissolve sometimes. Other than that with a ratio of 500ml and 1 scoop, I think it’s a little sweet for me. Luckily I can just dilute it further but I wouldn’t mind if these manufacturers just didn’t add a sweetener at all whether it’s zero calories or not. It makes it impossible to use more than 1 scoop because the sweetness is almost exponential.
Either way great product, will definitely buy more.

this is the first clear protein i’ve tried so i have nothing to compare it to but it’s pretty good. it tastes great and i don’t think it’s chalky at all like other reviews may have said. it does take a while to mix but it’s pretty smooth. most of it dissolves fine and any powder that doesn’t dissolve is extremely small. some protein has large undissolved chunks that you can feel but anything that doesn’t dissolve in this one is very small and you can’t feel it in your mouth while you’re drinking it. overall great value for my money.

Great, non chalky taste. It does foam up a bit so I fill half full with water, shake, let the foam go away and then add ice and more water.
Perfect protein for hot summer days.

I ordered this on a whim after my phone started presenting me with clear protein options after I mentioned to a friend that I was going to do keto again. I loved blue raspberry slushies as a child and this really satisfies that craving. I like that it’s not a milky, super sweet beverage. Believe me, I like a grainy vanilla protein shake just like any other gym rat, but this is an amazing addition to my nutritional lineup. I’m one of those awful people that depends on everyone’s Amazon reviews but never leaves my own, so take that for what it’s worth that I’m leaving a review.

I was so excited to try this. I hate milky protein drinks and I have been looking for something more along the lines of Gatorade. I love pineapple so I was hopeful this would be good. I was very disappointed. The smell is awful, it doesn’t mix well and the initial taste and aftertaste were even worse than the smell. Definitely would not recommend this product.

Let me preface this by saying that I generally like NutraBio products. Their commitment to quality and transparency are very commendable.
So with that in mind, I will start with the good about the product. Compared to the equivalent product from Isopure, the foam definitely dissipated faster. Mixability was also very comparable to Isopure, and the quality of the protein (i.e., cold filtered vs ion exchange) is superior.
But the taste….
This tasted so bad that I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to finish the rest of the tub. I ordered the pineapple flavor and it tasted absolutely nothing like pineapple. Instead it was a sickeningly sweet, almost jolly rancher flavor. In fact the taste is so off that I’m wondering if they accidentally added the wrong flavor to this batch, because it genuinely tastes closer to a watermelon or green apple jolly rancher than to anything even remotely similar to pineapple. I was really disappointed, because Isopure sells a clear pineapple protein that tastes phenomenal.
I don’t know, maybe I just got a bad batch, and/or there was a mix-up with the flavor or something. I’ve included a picture of the lot number on the bottom of the tub, in case anyone reading this had a different experience.
Now, if you like really sweet stuff then this might be for you. Paired with one of the carb powders and you have a great intra-workout drink.
