These bags of chips are loved by some in our house, and not loved by others. They are nicely packaged and the ingredients/nutrients are easy to read. My husband wasn’t a fan, my son loved them, and I liked them, but thought they tasted a bit weird compared to my preferred brand of Salt & Vinegar Lays chips. Overall, if you like salt and vinegar and are looking for a high-protein snack, these may be for you.

I should have believed the reviews that said these taste terrible. I regularly eat protein infused snacks and realize they do not taste like a regular high fat, low protein snack but I can barely force myself to eat these. The after taste is terrible. Don’t waste your money. I wish I didn’t.

I keep ordering the barbecue but I’m getting “salt & vinegar”… I do like the S & V but ordered extra in order to try the barbecue 🤷🏼♀️

So great! They are quite delicious for being packed with protein. They don’t taste 100% like regular chips, but the light BBQ seasoning does mask some of the unusual flavor. These are a good thickness with nice crunch and are satisfying to eat. The whole bag does fill you up pretty well for being so low in calories and is a nice in-between meal hunger saver. Highly Recommend!

Ingredient list: Protein Blend (Soy Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate), High Oleic Sunflower Oil, Tapioca Starch, Water, Soy Fiber, Sodium Diacetate, Salt, Potato Starch, Dehydrated Potato, Yeast Extract, Sunflower Lecithin.
Looking to chips as a health food isn’t warranted, no matter how good they are. These are crunchy and tactile and taste good. The salt and vinegar is mild and not overpowering. They’re a nice snack.
They’re not labeled as non-GMO, so one must assume that GMO soy is being used. And sunflower is another ingredient that fitness geeks may also not appreciate.
I see that these are distributed by a U.S. company, but no information here as to where they are actually made or where the ingredients are sourced from.
At approximately $3.66 per bag, they’re on the very high end of for a bag of chips or rice crisps, and in that price range I would be expecting organic or something similar. I would use these occasionally if they were on sale, but I think there are lots of other protein options that I would prefer.

We’re trying not to snack on foods that lack the nutritional profile we want. That means looking for a high protein and a low sugar content. This Myprotein chip fits the bill, and the barbecue flavor just happens to be our favorite in any chip. We tried to place the taste of the chip, in comparison to others that we’ve eaten over the years. Can’t quite place it, probably because it is really unique. Along with the pea and soy, it has whey and potato so, so added together, it just makes for a good tasting chip, covered with a nice barbecue flavor, kicked up a little by a bit of paprika and cayenne peppers. It’s got the protein and it just plain tastes good. Definitely worth a try.

Ordered the BBQ and received the salt and vinegar I hate salt and vinegar anyways so I don’t want it to persuade my review. It seems like a few other people got their flavoring order mixed up.
For starters I thought the salt and vinegar tasted horrendous couldn’t even eat it. But I don’t like vinegar. My dad tried em and loved em so everyone’s taste is different.
These really werent potatoe chips. They’re not thin and crunchy. They’re more like a thicker baked rice cracker with flavoring. Lol like some of the healthy baked chips in the grocery store. I’m sure the BBQ would have tastes pretty good. Disappointed I didn’t get to try them but I’m sure it would be a good healthy snack.
I feel like $3.83 per bag is actually pretty fair too. Was a decent amount in the bag. Definitely enough for a few servings.
Not a fan of using sunflower oil but am glad it’s the high oleic type. Would have been 5 stars of it was avocado oil or something.

These are probably not for me. However, I like that these can be a very nice and convenient way to supplement protein. And, for the most part these are made with recognizable ingredients. I received a mixture of the “Barbecue” and “Salt and vinegar” flavors in my batch, and my experience with both flavors was largely the same. Upon opening the bag, you’ll notice that the chips are inconsistent: some are flat and crisp, and then some are puffed up like pork rinds–this difference affects the texture a bit, but all in all the chips are flavorful and crunchy. My big gripe with this is that after the initial crunching, everything breaks down into a powdery pulpy consistency in your mouth (I think that it is because of the pea protein powder used in this) . I find myself having to reach for something to drink to wash it down. I find this “after-chew” experience off-putting, but this may just be personal preference.
