I have to say this product works awesome. I like the taste as well. Last week, I went to Colorado for a few days for the Great American Brewfest and took the electrolytes with me. Being that I like craft beers and hate hangovers, I figure this product would do the trick. Yes, it worked to keep me hydrated with 3 of the main ingredients: sea salt, magnesium and potassium. After sampling about 50 or so beers (who’s counting), I made sure to drink the 16oz. of water with the electrolytes. The next day, no hangover! In fact, I felt good the next day and had a little more to make sure I stayed hydrated. Drinking plain water is not nearly enough when you drink, and I hate taking ibuprofen – it’s bad enough I gave my liver a workout at the brewfest then Oktoberfest for the next two days with no hangover and was still able to do some pedalflow.
As for fasting, this helps keep my energy up and no mineral depletion. Other than a beer connoisseur, I’m an avid gym rat and bike rider. I do lot of exercise while fasting and need electrolytes without breaking my fast especially when you sweat out all your minerals. Gatorade is crap and has sugar. I like that this product has no sugar or calories. I feel no need to try or buy anything else. Five stars from me! Totally satisfied!

While I’m active and fit, I am 75 years old. Older people tend to have a hard time absorbing nutrients and often run low on electrolytes. In my case, potassium and sodium chloride often get too low. That effects your blood pressure and can cause tachycardia of all sorts.
This stuff is great! I wish I had not ordered the orange. It’s a bit more acid than I like. But that’s my fault. It is not too sweet but sweet enough. I bought it because of the ingredients and the amount of each electrolyte. Many electrolyte drinks have just a dab of electrolytes in them and a ton of sugar. No so with this product. It has very generous portions.
Right now I’m using one-half a scoop to my cold water and drinking it twice a day. Since I’m not drinking for sports recovery as many are, I don’t feel I need quite as much. I’ve been drinking coconut water. About 8 ounces per day. But that gets expensive. It is a very good drink for electrolytes but just too costly. This has about the same amount of electrolytes in it as an 8 ounce glass of coconut water and I simply can not drink a full 8 ounces. So with this, I get the amount I feel I need.
Getting these electrolytes gives me far more energy and helps with my SVT (a form of tachyardia) so I’ll likely keep right on buying it. But next time I will opt for another flavor. I highly recommend this to my fellow seniors and for sure to athletes and anyone who wants to make sure they have enough electrolytes. Far more people run low on electrolytes than realize it until they have a blood test.

I’ve been on the ketogenic way of eating for two years now and getting my electrolytes in has been a challenge for me. I tried mixing my own salty electrolyte drink which was awful, than I tried Dr. Berg’s electrolytes which was expensive, didn’t taste good and I still had muscle cramps in the morning, though less than without it. I searched Amazon for different kind and found Genius Electrolyte Powder. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and found the taste to be pleasant, not too strong and not too sweet. I have purchased 7 of these so far and I love it! The flavor is much better (I like mixing it in sparkling water) and I don’t have the muscle cramps I use to get with the other electrolytes I was using. Their time spent formulating it was time well spent and the taste is great. One side note here. I heard that Splenda can knock a person out of ketosis, so this morning I decided to try Splenda in my coffee. I tested my blood 2 hours later and went from 0.8 to 0.2 in two hours! I also tested against Genius Electrolyte powder and it did not lower my ketosis numbers. They have every right to be proud of their product. It’s fantastic and I highly recommend it.

This is our first time ordering this Orange Fizz Electrolyte Powder and we recommend trying it. It’s so much more effective than other hydration drinks we’ve tried. It’s sugar free, has zero calories per serving, and the quality of the ingredients make it something that fits our dietary and health goals.
We have noticed positive results when using this supplement at various times for various reasons – first thing in the morning, before and after working out, after partying, and after being dehydrated in a warm climate. Increased focus and endurance are noticeable almost immediately after drinking the fizz.
We like the flavor, light orange and a little fizzy. It does have a bit of a supplement-type flavor, but we associate the taste with feeling good so that makes it easy to drink. The powder dissolves easily when mixed. We mix 1 scoop with 8 ounces of cold filtered water and drink it immediately.
