I thought these would be similar to liquid IV. They are not.

Great to through in the bag to use later after the outing. Easy to use and tastes good. Has helped me to keep hydrated on those long adventures.

I tried this after hearing it was better than Liquid IV for those struggling with POTS. But I tried multiple flavors and could not bring myself to drink it. A sickly sweet splenda taste to the drink and all the flavors ended up tasting the same to me.

I use electrolytes to enhance my workouts and improve post workout recovery. While the product says it’s good for exercise support, it’s better suited for medicinal use. Each single serving packet has a whopping 862mg of sodium, more than 4x what my usual electrolyte powder contains! There’s also about 400mg of potassium, and 7g of added sugar. I try to avoid added sugars, so I wasn’t very happy to see this.
This product uses a WHO (World Health Org) formula/ recommendation for treating dehydration in medical situations. It has something to do with higher salt combined with some sugar improving the bodies absorption of electrolytes and reducing the need for an IV. This is interesting, but I ordered this to supplement my workouts. The super high salt and added sugar can cause other issues if taken daily.
I’ve now tried the green apple and orange flavors. I mixed each one in 18 oz of water (size of my water bottle), started drinking them @ 15 min prior to cardio workouts, and continued to drink through the sessions, until the water was gone. The flavor is surprisingly good…it’s not watered down or overly sweet, and it’s identifiable (green apple…yummy). About 30 minutes into my workout the water started tasting sweeter and my stomach felt heavy. Overall, I didn’t find it refreshing, but I had good energy throughout, and my recovery was quicker than usual. For me, this isn’t an everyday electrolyte formula, but it will be great for those hot summer outdoor workouts!

these sticks mix with your average sized bottle of water (16.9 oz), they are less sweet than sports drinks and are comparable to a popular PEDIA brand hydration drink.
There are no colors to the granules, and the flavors are pleasant enough.
Since the store page didn’t list ingredients before, here’s the list as it reads on the box:
Grape, Apple, and Orange Ingredients: Anhydrous dextrose, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, citric acid. LESS THAN 1% OF: sucralose, and natural and artificial flavor.
PURE Ingredients: Anhydrous dextrose, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, citric acid. LESS THAN 1% OF: natural and artificial flavor.
EDIT: I wouldn’t drink to many of these in a day, as sodium citrate has some *cough* loosening *cough* properties.

Works great for rehydrating when you are already dehydated. The flavor is good. The taste is sweet, and I am not a sweet fan, but does the trick.

It’s a must for your medicine cabinet. You never know when you might need it and when you do, it can be a life saver. It’s very easy to use, just follow the simple instruction and mix it with some water. The taste is not too bad for a an electrolyte drink. Definitely recommend this.
