I only opened one protein bar in the package. The chocolate covering was discolored frame age and flaked off when I opened it. The inside of the bar was so old it crumbled. Did not taste it!!!

I like the Snickers plus protein a lot. Buying them through mail during summer may be a problem. I have ordered twice and both times the bars are somewhat deformed from partial melting.
These do contain Palm Oil unfortunately. I will try to find a satisfactory option that does not contain ultra-processed oils.

These bars were a big hit during a bicycle trip. Lots of protein & full of flavor. Good value when compared to other high protein bars. Only problem…the chocolate melted in hot weather – we should have put them in a small cooler. But they definitely gave us the “kick” needed while biking.

The Snickers protein bars arrived, and were stale. You cant bite through it. The chocolate falls off the bar if you try to use a knife to cut it into bite size pieces. I was very disappointed. I bought one from my local store, it was fresh, easy to bite into, and delicious. That is why I decided to buy a case on Amazon. Wish I would have known as soon as the item was delivered, but I did not try one until a few weeks later.

The bars themselves aren’t really a problem. The nutrition numbers are good (save for the fat content), and the taste isn’t bad for a protein bar. When grading it against other protein bars, I’d give it a 7 for flavor. When grading it as a food in general, I’d give it a 5. To give you a point of reference, think of a snicker bar with virtually no sweetness. Even the caramel isn’t sweet. Flavor wise, these aren’t bad, but the other snicker protein bars are better. My real issue is with the condition these arrived in. Someone posted a review with a picture of a completely smashed up box, and I can confirm that wasn’t a one-off. It honestly looked like I got the box that reviewer returned. When I ordered these, I also ordered a case of protein shakes. The 2 things were shipped in an Amazon envelope/ bag together, and the box of bars was completely smashed. The sides were blown out and the lid was half ripped open. I opened the box, and the bars didn’t seem too damaged. On the contrary, every single bar I’ve eaten so far has the ends crushed, half the insides squeezed out the end like toothpaste. Like they melted on the way and re hardened almost in the shape of the bar itself. They’re still edible, so I’ll finish them. But, considering the mid flavor and the awful condition they arrived in, I won’t be buying these again.
