Reading what others have had to say about dosages… maybe for them they’re correct. I just know that I was on this for a month and felt great, had great workouts – wife loved me taking it… Then I stopped. I stopped because I wasn’t sure that this was the supplement that was showing me improvements. So, I started taking other stuff – noticed that my energy fell off, workouts weren’t as long. I haven’t changed my diet for a year, so I KNOW it wasn’t that. Ordered some more of this and immediately felt the difference. For $25 bucks, one could pay a LOT more experimenting with different supplements to find out what’s “right” for you. This is what my diet misses and what helps me with stamina, workout pump, and definitely in the bedroom.

I had waited to do my review until I had thoroughly tried out the settlement. I have used it four times now. I am an avid cyclist, although a senior one, I still am competitive. Most recently I had worked all day and needed to get a little bit of time in on my trainer, I wasn’t very motivated but was reluctantly disciplined enough to ride anyway. I had taken four of these pills and given them enough time to get into my body . I had no aspirations of doing anything spectacular on the trainer as my motivation was very lacking, I ended up sitting a PR on the trainer in raising my VO2max and also my power threshold, which is tracked by my Garmin. I’m 64 yrs young and am not an elite athlete, just trying to stay fit and slow down the aging process, while enjoying life. I had an unusual amount of energy even after I finished that ride. I bought this jar and my review is unbiased. This supplement is the real deal and I’m looking forward to it helping me take my fitness to another level.

The first bottle of ZHOU N.O PRO came with capsules that had a pinkness to the which I would expect because there is beet root in them. Ordered another bottle and the capsules where white with no pinkish color and they are much smaller than my first bottle. Makes me think no beet in these. Not cool and looks wrong. Won’t buy again

I was excited about this product. I liked the concept of including various Nirtic Oxide producers. I was hoping that extra synergy will offer visible benefits. Having an option to take capsules would make N.O. Pro a great product to use daily or while travelling. Yet, N.O. Pro did not show any visible benefits. How do I know? Well, I have been using bulk supplied L-citrilline and L-arginine. They produced measurable increase in energy, stamina and blood flow. Nothing similar has been noticed after using N.O Pro. Possibly I need to use it longer in order to build plasma levels. In that case Zhou Nutrition is welcome to send me another bottle (they did offer one if I wrote a review. I wonder if they still honor it). This is why I have to say that this product is NO Pro, that is it is not as effective as bulk amino acids (l-arginine at 5 gr, L-citruline at 2.5 gr) for ME.

My routine: I run every other day 3-5 miles and one 10 mile run on most weekends. Non run days are yoga and weights for about 1-1.25 hrs.
I read all glowing reviews and decided to buy a bottle of this stuff having no experience with it. I originally started taking a half dose 30m before lifting and didn’t feel a difference. I couldn’t lift more or even do more reps than normal. What I did notice is that the time I needed to rest between sets was reduced.
On days I ran I would take my half dose 30m before and hop on the treadmill or trail. Moving anywhere between a 7:40 to 10:00 minute pace. I did notice I could go faster and run longer and not be completely winded by the end of it. I then bought my second bottle after 45 days or so of this experience
I had been very consistent with taking my half dose of this supplement before my work outs and decided to begin taking a full dose to feel the effect. If going from 0 to 2 was underwhelming than going from 2 to 4 was even more so. I then began to convince myself that my modest increases in performance were really from me pushing myself more due to my misguided perception that im somehow enchanced by beet root.
So convinced of this I continuted to take the stuff until it ran out. This happened to fall on a run day. I hop on the treadmill and start at a 9:00 minute pace at 1% incline. 12 minutes in I was huffing and puffing, so much so that I had to reduce the incline to 0. My first thought was that I didnt eat right and I must be dehydrated. I recovered my breath and 25 min in I started to feel drained. The best way to describe it is that feeling of exerting yourself in altitude. I felt like I was spending 20% more energy and effort per mile. I didnt want to continue so I stopped and thought it was just my diet and water intake that day.
Doing yoga and lifting weights or doing push ups the following day, I didn’t notice much of a difference. Lets say I do 3 sets of 25 push ups with 45 seconds in between each set with N.O. Pro. Without it, I will do the first set no problem and second set I will need a full minute of recovery and by the third I may end up only being able to do 17. For me thats within my range of performance and tolerance depending on how I feel that day. Sometimes its more sometimes less.
My performance remained at this level with little change. My running performance was noticeable because it was so much less than ‘normal’. There was no way I could maintain a 8:00 minute pace for any appreciable time. For a week it didn’t hit me until I logged on amazon and N.O. Pro was suggested. “Ah-ha”, yes this must be it. I bought my third bottle and it was off to the races. Again I don’t “feel it” working and I think thats the idea. You only feel it when you stop. I also recommend taking less if you can get away with it, I don’t get much more benefit from taking 4 caps versus 2. Your mileage may vary but its true for me.
