No standard application. I put a measured teaspoon in a pint of distilled water, spray bottle and dampen once a night. Guessing it’s helping?

I bought this product to apply topically to a vicious dog fight wound on my border collie that would not heal and had been re-sutured 3 times. The skin has such a large amount of trauma that it just isn’t healing after two weeks. I researched sugar and came across a study on d ribose on rats and the amazing results it had on rapid wound healing. I made a mixture of honey, d ribose and castor oil and the wound is healing much faster and is infection free. Aside from using the mixture, I pack the wound, now mostly open with the d ribose as it draws moisture from the wound and kills bacteria. As far as using d ribose as a sugar alternative or a supplement, I would strongly recommend very limited use as studies have shown it is very bad for your brain. For wound care, I believe it is the only thing that has kept my dog from being put down. I have already spent over 5k on vet bills and my poor dog was not healing and his skin was becoming necrotic, even with a slew of antibiotics. I can say for us, the d ribose is a must have for wound care.

We begin to experience decreased D-ribose production in the body as we age and D-ribose is sweet like sugar but it is a five-carbon molecule, where sugar is a six-carbon molecule. So, D-ribose doesn’t raise blood sugar, as sugar does.
Be cautious with D-ribose if you’re diabetic, and ask your doctor if you can use it, especially if you’re on medication because it does increase insulin production.

This is a lowest cost D-Ribose. i’ve taken d-riboset about 15 yrs. I just tried this one because of the low cost.. i noticed as someone said, it has a very slight chemically taste compared to other dribose and tastes a little sweeter.
. the effect it has is almost identical. i had to do this lower cost one due to budget. it really brought my energy from severe fatigue to good. it has helped a lot with fibro aches and pain. ADD ONE TABLET OF MAGNESIUM MALATE each time you take dribose for the best help with fibro muscle aches and pain. that was once a common formula that was everywhere to be found. that addition also helps with good mood and overall feeling of well being. You can get Magnesium Malate right here on Amazon by Source Naturals. buying this low cost dribose and low cost Mag-Malate and taking them together twice a day is like getting around 9 months worth of product for the cost of two months. the formula with them already combined is called D-Ribose M. do not get it at iHerb ( spoiled product.) Get it here where you can see reviews. this company is in China and unreachable, but the product is nearly the same as other companies and ive been using it about 5 months now. dont take later than 2 or 3pm. this review is just my opinion. Dribose and malic acid help your body produce badly needed ATP molecules needed for our bodies energy. great for preventing congestive heart failure too.
