This was just what I needed. It was suggested by a friend who’d had a very good experience so I followed her regimen. I eat healthy but don’t exercise so I was skeptical that I could drop pounds. Nevertheless, I had up to 5 shakes a day for 3 days. The shakes were delicious. Thick
Filling. No nasty aftertaste or chalky consistency. I wasn’t hungry throughout the day. I dropped 8 lbs. I intend to eat a normal diet for 5 days and repeat the plan. Loosing some weight has given me a jumpstart and I’m adding some modified planks and wall push ups to firm up my core and arms. It’s been a beneficial start to loosing weight and reaching my goal to get back to a size I want to be.

After several tries I found HMR breakfast shake powder to be the best solution for the start of my diet day. It was only a few months later that I went on the HMR website and found to my shock that they were going out of business. My first impulse was to start hording the powder. However the product remained available and now after more than a year HMR products are still available. Apparently something happened to change their plans. What ever it was we all should be grateful that HMR is still with us. Here’s my recipe. I start with a banana to add a little extra nutrition. Peal the banana and place it in a blender with 1/4 cup of cold water. Blend until uniform. Add one scoop of HMR shake powder and the amount of crushed Ice shown in the 9 ounce glass in the picture above. Blend until smooth. This will fill a 16 ounce glass. Sometimes I add naked peanut butter powder, see amazon product listing, to alter the flavor a bit. It’s a pleasant tasting breakfast that lasts until noon.

For the price I guess I expected a larger container although it is as described. Taste is good and is smooth to drink but since I haven’t ordered any meal replacement drinks in years I guess I expected different.

Delicious milkshake. Quality is excellent. I was on the HMR program several years ago when they had their meetings in my town. Missed the shakes and glad to see they were available on Amazon.
