Amino acids are essential in one’s diet, especially if you work out or are healing from an injury. This gel capsule is easy to swallow with no taste, and the price is reasonable. However, it is just packaged in the USA. I am not keen on taking supplements that I don’t know where they have been made. It also states that it has been lab tested but not 3rd party lab tested. For these reasons I have given this supplement only 3 stars.

I have a problem digesting/absorbing proteins so this type of supplement has proven its worth to my health. I have been taking supplements to give me the essential proteins needed for years since I was hospitalized with a severe protein deficiency, and they have helped tremendously. This particular supplement is no different — I expect it to keep helping me maintain “normal” protein levels.
The capsules are a little big for my liking; however, they do go down well and don’t cause any weird side effects. I love being able to swallow a capsule rather than going with a shake type supplement… trust me, I’m soooo sick of those after years of use! Anyway, these capsules are non-GMO and have no artificial sweeteners/colors/bad stuff…and most importantly (to me anyway) is that they are manufactured in the US so I can rest assured of their quality.
while it’s way too early to measure any difference in protein levels since beginning this supplement, I will say that I am feeling stronger and my nails seem to be doing better too (too soon to tell about hair as mine grows slowly anyway). I am hoping that this supplement will, along with a high-protein diet, resolve my current protein deficiency (which isn’t severe at this point, but concerning). I know it’s not a miracle cure, but it sure seems to be helping a bit and that’s well worth it.
