I’ve been taking collagen supplements to help my skin, hair and joints. I recently learned that collagen supplements also help boost the immune system, prevent bone loss, promotes heart health and promotes gut health.
I take 1-2 tablets per day, not the 3 recommended as I already take a lot of supplements and feel that I still receive some benefits. The tablets are pretty large, but can swallow them. These come in a brown glass bottle and are a 30 day supply.
To be honest, I have only been taking collagen for a bit under a month, so the benefits are not visible. It is generally accepted that it can be a couple months before you will really start to notice a difference. I’m excited to see how that will manifest.
Dr. Mercola is a high-quality, well-known brand and I will be reordering when the time comes.

I’m a newbie a first time customer of purchasing Dr. Mercola brand.
From the very beginning of day one of taking Dr.Mercola Collagen Complex things went well. No bad side effects at all.
However once getting to the mid-section of taking Dr. Mercola collagen complex I noticed a discoloration on the product.
Which gave me a very uncomfortable feeling. I did not feel any discomfort of nausea or any other type of illness.
Until much later. However I reached out to Amazon surprisingly Amazon Representatives took care of my issue respectfully with promptness.
I’ve had to reach out to Amazon in the past month’s of this year along with a couple of years back concerning other product issues.
Back then I unfortunately had some of the rudest nastiest disrespectful Amazon representatives including Amazon supervisors. Now it seems as though Amazon has taken a different route of hiring representatives for it’s business which is a good thing.

I love Mercola products. I know that they are safe and are up to my standards. This collagen is good for me when I travel because I’d much rather take several pills with me than a big container of powder. Since using collagen I have noticed that my hair and nails grow faster. These are easy to take, though three pills is one serving.

I’ve been taking collagen for only a short period of time — my daughter has taken collagen supplements for years and has convinced me to try it. I’m familiar with the Dr. Mercola brand of supplements (whether one agrees with him or not, his supplements certainly seem to be of top quality and are sustainable sourced). I like that this collagen complex contains several different types of collagen (there are well over twenty different types, but only a few are commonly found in the various tissues and organs of humans). My main concern in taking collagen supplements is maintaining joint function, but I will be happy if there are benefits for my skin, hair & nails, too. A serving size is 3 tablets, so this bottle of 90 is only a one-month supply if the supplement is taken as suggested. I am actually taking a bit less and alternating this with another supplement (also from Dr. Mercola) to get started. The tablets are pretty good sized, and I do have a bit of trouble getting them down, but it isn’t too bad if I have plenty of water. I don’t notice any particular taste, but they do smell pretty vile. The tablets are packed in a heavy glass amber colored bottle. The bottle arrived boxed and properly sealed. The current price of $37.42 does seem pretty pricey and is the only reason that I rated this at four stars rather than five.

I like Dr. Mercola products and trust this brand. I normally add collagen powder to my coffee but at times, that can be hard to do if I am away from home. These are easy to keep in a purse, bag or carry on. You do need three at a time for the suggested dose, so if you can’t swallow pills that might be a bit much. Collagen has made my hair grow like crazy! It’s thick and my stylist has noticed how much it’s growing. My nails haven’t responded as much as my hair, but I also use this for joint health.
