If getting the highest quality, most bioavailable, natural electrolyte supplement available is of utmost importance to you, this might be it. It’s a solid, reputable company. They source the electrolytes from their goats, which is pretty unique.

I personally chose to add this supplement to my morning fruit shake, along with my protein, collagen, and colostrum powders. It mixed in great with no clumps. It didn’t add any discernible taste, but maybe thickened the shake slightly like cream. I felt clean and refreshed after taking this, which was great. Other electrolyte supplements can make me feel heavy and plugged up, so this was a nice change.

But, at $45, I don’t personally think it adds enough value to my life to continue ordering it. I understand that they might need to charge this to cover the costs of running their admirable, honest business, but I just can’t justify it for myself. Still, it’s way less expensive (and probably a lot more effective) than almost any prescription drug out there, so perhaps I have the wrong perspective.

For 30 servings tops, this is a pretty expensive electrolyte supplement. But with that said, it’s still cheaper than buying a bottled drink for each serving, so I guess it’s hard to hold that against it. It really is a premium product and has a great list of ingredients that’s above and beyond similar products from other brands.

Mine was an easily scoopable powder but I did see that one of the other reviews complained about it being solidified. I guess I could see that that’s a possibility, especially in high humidity, but I wouldn’t really worry about it. It should be pretty easy to break back apart if it clumps up at all.

Received product on time. It is hard as a rock. I can’t use it and I can’t get my money back. Not buying supplements from Amazon again.

First off, I will say that I really appreciate the quality of this mix. Grass-fed goats, no added sugar or flavors? Excellent! I didn’t notice any negative side-effects, and I’m sure this is more bioavailable than most lab-produced electrolyte mixes. I have quite a few sensitivities, so I’m very happy to not have any allergies or other issues with this. I’ve been adding it to a glass of amla-water (got to get my vit. C & antioxidant boost somehow), and it softens the bitterness in a way that’s not really better or worse, just different. It stirs in decently well, though it’s definitely not an instant-dissolve powder. I do feel overall a bit better-hydrated, so maybe it’s working?

My only concern is that the price…is pretty steep. The current price ($48.50) for a month’s supply for one person is quite high for me (and for a lot of people, I’d wager). I’ve been taking less than recommended to spread it out, but that means I’m not getting the recommended dose to evaluate the full benefits. I feel like this is a splurge buy for most, and I think budget will be the deciding factor for anyone thinking about clicking “add to cart.” The quality is definitely there. But there’s an idea — maybe if there’s enough demand, the price will go down, and we can all afford some top-notch clean electrolytes! Here’s to hoping.

I had never heard of getting electrolytes from goat milk whey until now.
This powder dissolves somewhat slowly in cold water. It turns the water slightly yellow once fully dissolved. I wouldn’t say it’s tasteless. It has slightly milky taste. Some might be turned off by the taste but I didn’t find it terrible. Not much of a smell either.
I would guess that the electrolyte assay is of good quality being that it is a natural form. The trace mineral content looks to be good as well.
The problem I have with this product is the carbohydrates and sugar content. 6 grams of sugar (naturally occurring, but it is still 1.5 tsp per Tbsp) and 8 grams of carbs. I am trying to stave off pre-diabetes so this product does not fit into my low-carb diet plan. It may be a good choice for someone who isn’t concerned about it.
Not a great value for the price either. It would be cost prohibitive for sustained use for me.

This is the oddest electrolyte powder I’ve ever had — which does NOT mean it’s bad, just atypical. I bought it to use with my colonoscopy prep instead of Gatorade. I tasted it upon receiving it and realized that was not going to work; it isn’t flavored–most have a sports-drink type of flavor, and this is more like a milk powder. Still not a bad thing; sports drink flavorings have their place, and it’s honestly refreshing to have an alternative. I just needed to figure out how to use it.

I decided it might be good mixed with my morning collagen powder. The Mt Capra whey powder doesn’t taste great, so it needs to be mixed with something that does, and with my chocolate collagen (which I mix in coffee), it tastes like hot chocolate/mocha. That’s a good way to infuse electrolytes daily. It actually kind of wakes me up and refreshes me after taking it this way. Another way to use this would be to add to a smoothie — I know, all health powders that don’t taste great are recommended to be added to smoothies, and you can put only so many things in your smoothie! I happen to not even drink smoothies often, so I prefer the coffee method, but smoothie is a good alternative. If you drink milk or non-dairy milk, you can add in there, but make sure you use a milk frother or other kind of blender because it mixes better with hot items (I use the milk frother on my mocha drink). Otherwise it will clump.

Overall, I think this is a very high-quality grass-fed product and a very attractive way to add whole-food electrolytes and trace minerals to your diet. It is pricey, so I’d have to really have a special need for this, or just use it sporadically when I need a boost. I’m not sure I could justify this as a daily product without that significant need. But it’s a very good supplement.
