Personally, I am not someone who typically writes reviews, but I feel compelled to express my views on this product. A few years ago, I started having a compelling urge to eat ice. Along with that compulsion, I developed a chronic sore throat and cracks in the corners of my mouth. The culprit was anemia. My gynecologist recommended Hema-Plex and that was the cure. All of my issues went away and as long as continue to take the supplement, I feel great. I highly recommend this product to anyone having issues with anemia.

This product brought my iron level up to normal within 3 weeks of use and with no side effects. Being that it is plant based source of iron, there is no constipation or yucky tummy feeling! My iron level was so low the doctor said if I lost one more pint of blood I would need a transfusion. I tried increasing iron rich foods and used an expensive liquid iron to no avail. I went to a local vitamin shop who highly recommended this product and it worked! Now I can buy it here on line, I’m very happy!

I first started taking these when I was pregnant. I was told if my iron levels didn’t improve I would need iron injections. (The dose was double what it is now. Apparently due to EU laws it had to be reduced) they drastically improved. In fact the Dr didn’t quite believe the results!
Because they are natural iron your body can easily absorb it. You also don’t get all the usual side effects from taking prescribed iron.

I ordered this for my daughter when her iron level was threatening to prevent her from having a midwife assisted birth. She was given dosage instructions by the midwife, but even after following them to the letter, her iron level didn’t change at all.
I had high hopes for the product, and the fact remains that my daughter’s energy level did increase by a lot when she added this product to her iron regimen, so I gave it three stars.

I needed this for my anemia but tried these capsules instead of the tablets. The capsules are disgusting in taste and smell. You taste them long after too, in burps and such. The tablets were way better and I’m ordering some now. I’ll be throwing these capsules away. They also tear up your stomach, unlike the tablets. I had to leave work four hours early because I couldn’t take the discomfort anymore after taking two before work, and I never leave early like that. Missed some of my money smh.
