Well, on the advice of my wife, I have got this to try as I was not feeling the best…….But my sense of well being and health seems to have improved since starting this Shilajit Resin. Unsure if it is just a placebo affect? Of if this is helping? But not going to stop taking this for fear I will miss out on the positive aspects I seem to be experiencing. So, give it a try and see if this also helps you.

First and foremost, I was curious as to what Shilajit was after seeing a few ads related to the supplement and never hearing about it before. Listening to the “too good to be true” positive effects, I became even more curious and investigated further to find some quality product to give a try. I have sourced numerous brands and I must admit, Hatman labs seems to be legit.
The first thing I noticed upon receiving my product was the great packaging materials. The product was in a very colorful, professional looking box with many details about the product. The actual box was secured in a tough plastic wrap material and inside the box I found the bottle was very snug. The bottom also had a very colorful and professional label on it, which speaks volumes to mean in the quality control and advertising department to make a point of how great a product is by delivering on presentation. Upon opening the bottle, I found a pull tab seal on the top under the cap and it was rather secure to the jar top. Once removed, you could smell the “earthy-ness” of the product. It wasn’t an overwhelming smell, but definitely not the most pleasant, however, it was much nicer than some other Shilajit products I have attempted to use.
This product does have the earthy dirt taste, but is a much more pleasant one than normal. I have no tried it in any beverages as of yet, but directly putting it under my tongue to dissolve and although it isn’t the best tasting, the after taste was not horrible and only lasted a short period of time. I noticed a small boost in energy, but nothing more than what a cup of coffee would normally bring upon finishing. I do believe this product can be beneficial after long term use and the bottle surely is big enough to last for a long period of time. Just be sure to use the included measuring stick and do not exceed the 600mg mark. It may not be the easiest and most accurate way to measure the substance and I suggest trying to get one of those little shilajit spoons because it does make it much easier to measure out and take the resin as the wood stick can get nasty and after rinsing it will start to break down.
Other than the cruddy popsicle stick for measuring, the product is great and it tastes like the quality it presents itself to be. I have no doubt that this resin is a legit form of Shilajit and have no negatives to pass on; however, I would advise to make sure this is something you can take and check with a doctor to confirm if it is the right supplement for you. I’m expecting much more beneficial effects after long term use, and am excited to see this stuff in action!

Shilajit resin can be sticky and cumbersome. So, I thought I would try these easy to use organic drops instead. So far I will say that they are definitely something I would try again, even though I’m not sure they are as potent as the resin. I do like the benefits of shilajit and trace minerals so they are a good addition to my daily regime of supplements. These do not have a bad flavor, but the typical bark type flavor of this supplement.

It turns the smoothie a shade darker, and even with a full blender of fruit, yogurt and protein, you can still taste the resin.

This makes it cost-effective in the long run, as a single jar can last for a significant amount of time. With that said, it is a little difficult to ascertain a specific dose, since you just using essentially what amounts to a flat popsicle stick. I think this resin would be better consumed if it were possible to put it into capsules without taking away from its natural form or benefits.

I use shilajit resin in my coffee in the morning and this one I like. It comes with the typical dosing stick which is appreciated because I tend to be a little heavy handed on the condiments so to speak. It dissolved off the stick well as I poured my coffee in the cup. There was no unpleasant aftertaste and I get the energy boost I expect. It is one of my favorite shilajit resins I have tried.
