It is deceptively very sweet and creamy but don’t mistake this for pure honey. It is royal jelly mixed into the honey. It may cause adverse reactions in some people if more than the recommended dosage is taken as I found out the hard way. Took a little too much I guess and became nauseous then emptied my stomach in a most unpleasant manner. I think this stuff also gave me a sore throat and some sinus issues I’m still dealing with as of this posting but it could just be a cold. Oddly enough the symptoms started the day I first tried this stuff and I didn’t really think anything of it until today. I may well be allergic to it according to some websites info which i posted below. I hope not because I do like it. I think perhaps there should be more clear warnings on the label however. Gave minus a star for lack of sufficient warnings on the label.
On the positive side this stuff does seem to give me energy. The first day I took a teaspoon i felt like i drank a giant cup of coffee. I don’t know if it was this stuff or not but i felt pumped up for awhile.
I do recommend but again be aware that this is not to be eaten like candy or slathered all over your pancakes and toast or whatever. Stick to the instructions on the jar. However even if you do, you may still experience one of the side effects listed below.
The general Royal Jelly Side Effects experienced by some are:-
Tingling of the tongue
Hot sweats
Mild rash across the body
Stomach pain or sickness
Bowel pain and or diarrhea
Mild breathing difficulty
Some other potential side effects below i discovered.
General Hypersensitivity
General hypersensitivity is another term for an allergic reaction. Common allergic reaction symptoms include complications in the digestive tract, the skin, respiratory system and the cardiovascular system. Digestive tract complications includes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain and cramping. Medications will not help these symptoms until the royal jelly is removed from the body. The skin can become inflamed, causing eczema, hives or general rashes. Allergic skin conditions cause redness, swelling and severe itching on the surface of the skin. Respiratory problems may include sneezing, watery eyes, nasal congestion, throat irritation and sinus pain. Common cardiovascular symptoms include dizziness and lightheadedness.
Anaphylaxis – Death <– Death may result from a severe allergic reaction from taking royal jelly. Although uncommon, anaphylactic shock may occur within seconds of ingesting royal jelly. according to the website MayoClinic.com. The body overreacts to the royal jelly and unleashes a flood of chemicals to fight it off, but results in sending the body into a state of the shock. Your blood pressure drops suddenly, making you feel faint, dizzy and pale. The lungs quickly close, restricting your ability to breathe. You may experience anxiety, severe chest pain, a weak but rapid pulse, nausea and vomiting. If you experience these symptoms, call 911. An injection of epinephrine may be required to alleviate the symptoms.
You may want to go as far as to ask your doctor if you should take this stuff.

Love this for my face masks and use a small amount at night with my skin care routine. Helps a lot with complexion. Have since switched to the superfood version which contains bee propolisis and bee pollen also added. Both great products for skincare.

WOAH.
Context: I am a nutrition coach and overall nerd about supplements. I first got into learning about supplements when I became an egg donor looking into things for fertility and egg quality, and my interest grew from there. I am knowledgeable about what micronutrients to pair with each other and brands with good reputations for bio-availability. I also am very in touch with my body and health and notice if and how new things affect me.
SO…I expected this Royal Jelly to basically be honey, or very similar. A friend suggested hive-products for multiple health benefits, and research confirmed this can have a positive impact. In my head I thought of it more like honey than a supplement, so I didn’t initially respect the recommended serving instructions. The jelly tastes like a combination of honey and soap to me (which I actually liked because I don’t love the taste of pure honey).
The container says 1-2 tsp 1-2x/day on an empty stomach with water, and to not refrigerate. I had big heaping kitchen spoonfuls of it 3x/day on an empty stomach with water (30-60 mins before breakfast, lunch, and bed). Within 3-4 days there were extremely noticeable side effects which caused me to do more research. The things I observed don’t seem to have research done on them, so I guess take it with a grain of salt that this is quite subjective and I can’t back it up with any studies.
-The first thing I noticed was day 2 or 3, my hearing seemed SO much sharper that I actually found it distracting throughout the day. This has continued. I brought it up to my friend who told me about royal jelly and he said his boss told him that he found colors to be more saturated. I didn’t notice the colors, but my vision did seem sharper as well by day 2-3. That could maybe be attributed to better focus. I’m not sure. It was definitely perceived by both of us as sensory impact.
-Good mood. By day 2 or 3 I noticed I had no anxiety. I don’t normally have high levels of anxiety, but I noticed the total absence of ANY anxiety. I’ve used taurine powder for the same before and this was more noticeable to me.
-ENERGY. By day 4-5 I had to stop taking the spoonful before bed. I never drank coffee or napped so my energy levels were never very low, but I’ve been dancing around and bouncing off the walls. I normally fall asleep the second my head hits the pillow and it started taking an hour or more.
-Lucid/Psychedelic Dreams: My dreams got weird by day 4-5 too. Once I’d eventually fall asleep I had multiple lucid dreams, good and bad, and woke up between them feeling an almost psychedelic effect. I haven’t seen ANY research on this, just my observation. I do have the frame of reference.
-It is powerful. It isn’t recommended for people taking blood pressure medication because it can cause similar effects on its own, which could cause someone’s overall blood pressure to drop too low. Therefore I know I need to be careful who I recommend it to. This also reframed it in my mind as more of a supplement than something similar to honey.
As a result of noticing so many effects, I reduced the amount I’m taking to the recommended serving – about 2tsp, 2x/day (no later than lunch).* I will buy again, but I feel quite humbled by this stuff, definitely earned my respect – it’s powerful!
Let me know if any of you have experienced anything similar!

This could be a little too sweet, but it is a natural sweet, so I am not too worried. It is just that I am not so used to indulging in sweets. I tend to just take a spoonful of this before I go to bed. It’s been about a month since I’ve been taking it, and I’ve already noticed differences. I do not feel tired as much as I did compared to the past few months. I should allow more months to see how I feel later on, but so far it seems to work well for my body. Thankfully, there were no allergic reactions. Also, it is very easy to swallow. I like the fact that I do not have to take it as a pill. I highly recommend this product if anyone is looking for a royal jelly that they can take daily.

This honey with royal jelly tastes delightful, but the company does a horribly disappointing job with their packaging and customer care.
After having ordered multiple times, which means I like the product, I’m fed up with receiving severely damaged, messy, sticky, product.
The photo shows how the high-priced tub of honey leaked everywhere… what you can’t see here is how it had dripped out of the box and onto my porch!
Their NO REFUND policy means too bad for me, a loyal, repeat customer, which will mean too bad for you, too, if you are the unlucky recipient of a cracked tub.
I will NEVER order from this company again. The single star rating I gave here is generous… such a mess!!!

Love the taste. The quality and texture seems to be 199% spot on. Smells good. Love it has no other ingredients.
