The label provides product information, suggested use, ingredient list, lot number, expiration date and company details. Codeage is based in Los Angels and this product is manufactured in the USA.
Alpha-ketoglutarate is a naturally occurring substance in the body, but levels decrease as we age.
The suggested use is one cap per day, which provides 700 mg of stabilized Liposomal Calcium AKG, apx. 54% of estimated daily requirement.. Sixty capsules equals a 60 day/two month supply. I have only just started taking the supplement, but to date I have not encountered any issues or adverse reactions.
Liposomal supplement delivery is optimal, and I look for this in supplements I take. Also, research indicates that Calcium Alpha-ketoglutarate is perhaps more slowly absorbed than regular Alpha-ketoglutarate, so it stays in the body longer. Update so I went ahead & I used for 2 months absolutely zero results (water pill)
Save your money! Plus I actually got more grey hair since starting it & felt more pain after workouts. Not going to be ordering this again.
I had high hopes but absolutely nothing has changed after 1mnth nothing bad & nothing good. I might try a second bottle sometime you need to take things a while to see the benefits but not sure I want to spend the money & it ends up being a total waste. I’ll update if I do & if it works. But as of now I think it was a waste of $

I take regular calcium supplements and I’m new to this idea of boosting my krebs cycle w/ AKG. What I have noticed with these types of liposomal AKG calcium supplements is that it makes a difference in how the joints in my hands feel. I have less pain and stiffness with this than a regular calcium supplement, which was a surprise benefit. That alone makes it worth shifting over to this type of calcium supplement for me. This brand is based out of LA and made in the US. Having a liposomal delivery system means you’re getting the best absorption of this ingredients too! They’re well packaged, easy to swallow and leave no after taste. I also like that the dosage is just one pill too. I’d definitely get these again!

Using product to increase calcium absorption ( i’m 81) Impossible to note any bone density increase until at least 6 months out, but i have added it to my routine of supplements and weights….

I am a woman and take calcium to protect my bones as well as for its other numerous health benefits. I’ve been taking vitamins in liposomal form ever since I discovered them but I’ve never tried liposomal calcium and was very curious when I came across this product.
What makes liposomal supplements so special is that the supplement/vitamin taken is transported via liposomes (aka small fat bubbles) directly into the cell. This means that it is better absorbed going straight to the source – and is not broken down by the stomach.
There are 60 capsules included in the bottle, with a serving size of 1 per day. I always appreciate when the serving size is 1/day because it makes life less complicated. The bottle looks minimalist and futuristic. I like that it is made in the US, in a GMP-certified facility – and feel safe taking it.
It’s not always easy or possible to gauge the effectiveness of the supplements we take. However, I feel good and energetic taking it and have had no side effects. My boyfriend also takes it when his legs feel restless or agitated and he likes it a lot.

Please understand what this is before you purchase it. If you are looking for an old fashioned calcium supplement, this may not be what you want. Please do a little research because this is a fabulous supplement in its own right and I’m taking it for my bones, for anti-aging and for cellular health.
There is a lot of research online about the benefits of Calcium AKG but what convinced me to use it is the role it plays in the Krebs cycle which is vital to understand if you are trying to reverse chronic disease by increasing cellular energy, which is my goal.
As for this particular brand, I love CodeAge’s dedication to quality and third-party testing. It makes me feel really secure when using their products. However, their packaging allows the supplements to age quickly, which means the supplements inside need to be used rapidly. I like to either share them with my partner or put half of them another container so that they don’t all oxidize so quickly. Other than that, I like these and find Calcium AKG a very helpful supplement in fighting both aging and chronic illness.
