I used this reishi and was able to stop taking Paxil which I was on for about 3 years for anxiety. I had no side effects from stopping the Paxil and I also was able to sleep better at night. It had a natural calming effect. Good stuff.

This is the most powerful immune system support I have ever used. I REALLY felt the difference when I ran out, which I do not plan to do in future! Yes I do take other supplements, but miss none as much as this one! Please avoid flouride and brominated flour – AND do not eat GMO/or Roundup sprayed food. If it comes from a factory farm, it will have eaten GMO’s that were sprayed with toxins, or if plant foods, it will be drenched in it. I have been using this product for about 8 or 9 years from Planetary Formulas. There is nothing like it on the market, at least not that I have found.
Here is how I use it: At the first sign of not feeling well, whether I feel like I am developing a cold, pharyngitis, etc, which both start from a virus, I start taking 2 of these and take it 3 times a day for a couple of days. If I feel REALLY bad, I may take 3 for the first dose, and follow up with 2 in subsequent doses. I am not making claims that it fights viruses since viruses are extremely complex…but I will say that it has saved me many, many visits to the doctor. I have found it is crucial to begin taking it the minute I start to feel tired, throat hurting, sneezing…you know how it all starts! If I wait until the second or third day, usually the complex won’t be enough, and the cold may turn into bronchitis (for me), but I have seen it actually shorten the life of a cold. If I take it at the first signs and as I’ve described, I have seen that I actually don’t get sick!
I swear by this particular formula, and even when I lived abroad, I kept a stash of a few bottles just in case. I figure it’s better to take this than not attend to the cause, and risk ending up taking antibiotics when it turns into a bacterial infection. We know that herbs are potent medicine, and this particular formula works in a powerful way for me and for my husband, and has kept me (and him) from getting sick so many times. I hope this company is around forever because I literally don’t know what I would do without this product. For those who may be thinking they should take it daily, I assume you can, but I don’t because I think of it as medicine, and use it as such. I use it when I need it, and use it as a immune booster and it has worked well in that fashion.

I have two kids who bring home every new germ in town. As a result, I am frequently sick myself. Last year I did some research, and decided to give this Reishi mushroom blend a try. I started out using the Nature’s Way Reishi Mushroom and decided since I take 6 per day that I would try to get a cheaper brand that had a larger quantity. Problems started right away though, my skin started breaking out within the first 3-4 days of switching to this brand, and I felt pretty nauseous. I gave it a month on these and now I am back to the Nature’s Way. Maybe it was the blend of mushrooms in this one that made me feel ill, but it definitely was a poor experience compared to the others that I started with. Would definitely recommend Nature’s Way with 10% Polysaccharides. They have helped my skin, hair, and joints to feel better. I am 39 years old with early arthritis symptoms and I also have severe adult onset acne. The acne is almost gone since I’ve been taking Reishi for 2 months now. and my general well-being has improved greatly.

I had high hopes for this product but ended disappointed again. I too them as recommended and eventually even doubled the dose. I experienced NO improvement what so ever.
