There are so many supplement companies putting out mushroom supplements, but their formulations are cookie cutter and one of many different types they put out. I look for brands that ONLY focus on mushroom supplements, which brings me to Longevity Botanicals.
This brand was started in 2015 and are certified 100% organic, kosher, non-GMO, USDA certified and gluten free. There’s a lot of quality crafting in these supplements. I’m not new to taking mushroom supplements as I’ve been on them for 5 years now. So, I’m not going to be able to speak from a place of radical difference. That said, I enjoyed taking these and found my body responded positively to them. I can happily recommend this brand!

Having an organic and concentrated extract of this mushroom provides easy benefits to overall health. It’s easy to swallow with no taste and I didn’t experience any side effects. The fruiting body is used for extracting and beta glucans are standardized for better efficacy. It is processed for maximum absorption.

I’ve tried plenty of mushroom supplements but this is my first with maitake. It’s good for immunity so definitely worth a try. These are 3 capsules per serving, which is a tad much but they do go down smooth enough.

This is a great maitake supplement. It’s just certified organic maitake extract (entirely fruiting body powder), and nothing else.
The dosage of 900mg per 3 capsule serving is good, though I feel like they could have fit more than 900mg in 3 capsules. It’s organic and standardized to >35% beta-d-glucans, which is one of the primary active ingredients in many medicinal mushrooms.
That being said, maitake actually tastes very good, so I personally prefer to cook with it or just consume the mushroom powder as tea.
Overall – very high quality, organic maitake capsules.

Honestly, I just don’t know if these are doing anything. I can’t tell a difference if this is helping me or not. I want improved health and I want to know what I buy is working. I don’t want to have to spend a small fortune to find out by ordering more bottles.
However… they were easy to swallow. There was a slight aftertaste, but it was minimal… The label on the bottle looks nice.

I have been on this product for two months and have found that I’m feeling much better and blood work is stable.

I have taken these for awhile and I have not noticed an increase in energy levels yet. There is no taste to taking the capsules and I have had no after taste either. There is a total of 36,000mg, 1.27oz in this bottle. I will probably switch to the powder next time that has over 99,000mg at 3.5oz and mix in a shake or something.
The dosage is 3 pills a day, so this is a 40 day supply. Easy way to take these mushrooms but I think I will switch to the powder when done with the capsules.

This product came exactly as labeled. I used this in my baby’s food for nutrients. It mirrors the things out into his expensive baby food Brand we love called Cerebelly. The brand uses this ingredient in its baby food, this was my approach to make the same ingredients cheaper. So, far so good.
