I ordered this supplement for muscle soreness. I don’t know why, but these capsules stain my hand with the yellow color of the turmeric. Just touching the capsules will transfer to whatever they touch. The supplement provides me with some essential vitamins for immune function, which is an added benefit with the cold and flu season about to start. I like that this supplement is made in the USA.

I really love the combination of joint support nutrients in this supplement. It includes Turmeric, Bromelin, Boswellia, Olive Leaf, B vitamins, and black pepper for maximizing absorption. There are no additives whatsoever and it is manufactured in the USA. One serving is two capsules with a meal once a day. One bottle provides a one month supply. I experienced no aftertaste or adverse effects. I can’t make any claims, but it does seem to doing what it says it does. I felt really good that last few days on my feet all day. Overall, I’m very happy with this supplement. One awesome thing I learned when I visited their website, is that the founder had a brain tumor at 19 and his journey of healing was the reason he started this company. It’s a powerful story!

I really wanted to try this but unfortunately this supplement has gelatin that does not specify where it’s sourced from. Honestly this was my own oversight in not reading the label and pictures fully beforehand, but when you read the word “natural” and “finest imported and domestic ingredients”, it’s easy to make the wrong assumptions. Read carefully, and I would ask the manufacturer to please clarify on the label whether this is vegan or kosher-friendly or not – it’s important for people to know.

This is a pretty good supplement for inflammation relief and overall health. Each serving of two capsules provides 500 mg of curcumin extract, 250 mg of olive leaf extract, 200 mg of bromelain, 100 mg of boswellia, and 5 mg of piperine, plus a small amount of B vitamins. However, it would be helpful to know more about the extracts used. For example, there is no information provided on what the turmeric, olive leaf extract, and boswellia are standardized to. Without this transparency (the percentage of oleuropein or curcuminoids, etc), you really cannot assess the potency of this product.
Despite this, the dosage and the quality seem good, though 5mg piperine is a little low to boost bioavailability of curcumin. Overall, it’s an interesting combination supplement, but there are many similar products on the market, and I don’t think this one necessarily offers the best value, especially due to the lack of clarity on the strength of the extracts. Personally, I would go with a clinically studied inflammation-support supplement (such as one of the many clinically studied curcumin extracts out there).

I like that the product also includes black pepper to help with overall absorption of the Turmeric. Although I haven’t taken them long enough for the full effect, I have not had any problems with digestion etc. I expect these will be helpful for my overall inflammation problems.

UMZU zuRELIEF Turmeric Curcumin Supplement
I’ve had great results with various turmeric supplements for joint aches and creaks. This adds bromelain and a couple varieties of Vitamin B as well. The dosage is two capsules with a meal. They’re average sized and easy to swallow.
It’s currently October 2024, and these are stamped with an expiration date of February 2026. The label claims “Manufactured in the USA from the finest domestic and foreign ingredients”. The manufacturer has a solid website and they are active on social media. My only complaint is these are a bit pricey compared to other supplements with the same basic ingredients.

I ordered this ZuRelief by Umzu for immune and joint heath support. The formulation of quality natural ingredients includes Organic Extract of Turmeric Curcumin, Olive Leaf Extract, Bromelain, Boswellia Extract, and Black Pepper Extract (Bioperine). The Curcumin is blended with the Bioperene to enhance the Curcumin’s bioavailability. It’s convenient and easy to take. I take after a meal 2 easy to swallow capsules a day. It comes in a dark colored glass bottle of 60 capsules and provides me with a 30 day supply. According to the company UMZU’s website, they state they provide natural and research-backed products. They have a nice selection of nutritional supplements. They say that they are committed to complete transparency, using only natural ingredients without any unnecessary additives or fillers. I noticed that this ZuRelief product doesn’t identify if the gelatin capsule is vegetarian, vegan or bovine. I happened to notice that one of their other products actually states bovine (gelatin) capsule, but not this one. So that information could be essential for some people to know, although it’s not an issue for me. Also, the Turmeric Extract doesn’t mention, like other similar products, the amount of Organic Turmeric Extract that is standardized to deliver the benefits, such as for instance 95% curcuminoids, In addition, it is generally very important to know about the company or the manufacturer’s facilities, quality and certification processes. I was just not able to find any information about GMP certified facilities or 3rd party lab testing, generally stated by most supplement companies. The company states though, if you’re not happy, they’ll make it right. So, all in all, this is a targeted formulation with nicely packaged and presented glass bottle. I am presently unsure of the efficacy for me and would have appreciated further clarification of the ingredients on the product listing, label or website.
