This is a dietary supplement of saw palmetto. You get 60 capsules in the bottle and the serving size is one capsule per day. This supplement helps you stay healthy. I got this supplement for my husband to help him. He has only just started taking it and it is too early to tell if it is effective, however it is a well-known supplement and this one is good quality.

These saw palmetto capsules contain 450mg from powder (of the berries) and 100mg from extract. I’d prefer that they had more from extract; at least an equal amount as from berries. I like that the web page says that the country of origin is the US but in googling the manufacturer’s name, I cannot find any information on them. I have not noticed any aftertaste and they are easy to swallow.

I switched prostate supplements recently and the one I am currently taking did not seem to help much in less frequent bathroom trips so I am switching back to a more saw palmetto based formula. Too soon to tell of course because I just started taking them, but my doctor did happen to bring up saw palmetto when i asked about prostate supplements so at least I know my doctor approves of this ingredient. Will see how the rest of month goes, and I am hopeful this supplement will be as effective and the previous one I took.

I have read in several articles regarding the benefits of saw palmetto and decided to give this product a try. Like most supplements the results take time and patience. The ingredients are straight forward and appear to be of excellent quality. After a month of use it seems to have some effect. I haven’t needed to get up during the night as often to use the bathroom so that is a great result. I recommend this product if you have any prostate issues and hopefully it will help you too.
